Should Trump have denounced the KKK because he used to be a Democrat? Why is Exalted Cleagle Robert Byrd's statue still in the Capitol? Why is the monument to White Supremacist Stephen Douglas still standing in Chicago? Why was the statue of abolitionist Frederick Douglass toppled? Why is the Senate Office Building named after racist Richard Russell.

None of the attacks on our history is about race. It's all about party ,,,,driven by the fact that Americans don't want what Democrats are selling. That also drove the massive election theft in November.

Trump should denounce the KKK because they are horrible people, but instead Trump played to them

Are you black? If not, then with all due respect, how would you know that?

I can read, listen, observe no matter what color I am. And why do you think "racism" only applies to how blacks are treated anyway?

How many blacks are picking lettuce? Butchering livestock in meat packing plants? Etc.

Immigrants boost local economies, even illegal immigrants. This country was built by immigrants and slaves.

Actually, they were scared before that. Predictions that whites will no longer be the majority by 2045 or so have been out there for awhile. Obama was a bomb thrown on that small but growing fire. It's what Trump took full advantage of, starting with Birtherism.

Right. That must explain why so many blacks are joining the GOP. </sarcasm>

Yes, by all means, use one of the few right wing blacks to "prove" your point. As if they all think and vote the same way. smh . . .

Reading and observing are not the same as living it. Sorry, but an opinion based on bullshit isn't valid.

You should be more concerned how the democrat party has become the party of hatred and division!!!! That pretty much expanded under Obama.

Nice story. Run from your legacy. Project it on others while you continue to embrace haters and hold back African Americans.

The "hatred and division" that I saw was a reaction to the "horror" of an African-American President. But you are more than welcome to explain exactly what Obama did that contributed to it.

Trumps father Fred was arrested in 1927 for his participation in a New York KKK rally demonstration.
