Last nights game against the Titans was an utter embarrassment just like the entire season! What is Rex Ryan thinking keeping Sanchez in all season? He should have been benched after week 7's OT loss to the patriots. And why isn't Greg Mcelroy even activated for the game? He came in three weeks ago and put together a scoring drive after Sanchez couldn't score all game. Cut Tim Tebow, he sucks too. Why not name Mcelroy the starter for the final two games, I mean since you are now officially out of playoff contention thanks to last nights loss what do you have to lose? Throwing 4 interceptions is unacceptable, and fumbling the snap on to lose the game when you had time left to score is even worse!

Its not just Sanchez that sucks, the entire offense is sub-par at best, they have NO wide receivers a mediocre offensive line, an inconsistent and often ineffectual running back and a joke for a tight end in Cumberland. The defense is the only reason the game was 14-10 and not 54-10. The Titans aren't even a good team and you lost, its disgusting! Second, the offense coordinator needs to be fired, he brings no gameplan at all to the team, his play calling is absurd and when Sanchez actually was showing SOME poise out there you pull him to run a Tebow play that everyone knows is coming (since he only runs the same one play everytime hes out there). Their GM also needs to be fired, its his fault for trading away draft picks for unproven talent and signing bush league caliber receivers. Enough is enough already! Time to clean house and get some real management and coaching and a real leader for a QB!

I have been a life long Jets fan but this is the first time I can say truthfully I am disgusted with the team and embarrassed to be a fan. /End rant.

I think you're stuck with Sanchez, unless the Jets find a team crazy enough to trade him away. I believe the Jets still owe Sanchez 8 million or so in guaranteed money.

You're right though, the offense sucks. Fire the toe sucking coach, get rid of Tebow, bench Sanchez, and start over.

I say cut him and take the cap hit on his salary, the Jets cannot afford another disaster of a season with Sanchez at the helm.

Tebow should go to Jacksonville. McElroy should be given a shot. What's the worst thing that could happen; they might lose?????????????

Greg Mcelroy has been named the starter next week against the chargers. A little to late Ryan, but lets see what the kid has got!

Although sanchez does suck big time, the major problem with the Jet team is Rex Ryan. I was watching Imus in the Morning and they put up an audio quote of Rex after the jet loss and he said that he's geared toward coaching a championship team. Needless to say that quote among others got more than its fair share of laughs from the Imus staff. But being a Patriot fan all my adult life, I can't get enough of Rex Ryan with his insistence of keeping that sanchez loser at the QB position through thick and always thin times. The Jet/Patriot grudge matches used to be fun, now the jets look like an Ivy league college prep team at best.

You really don't have any reason to feel otherwise.

Don't worry about the QB. The reason Tebow is awful is the same as Sanchez. The O line is horrid. Seriously, when your QB is getting hit in the face by the butt of a flying lineman, you just have to look up to see the source of the problem.

I do agree their O line needs to be upgraded. Get rid of Matt Slauson he was terrible last season and is terrible this season. Consider trading D'brickashaw Ferguson. You can't get your QB in rythem when he's hurried and sacked 4 times a game. But even still Sanchez just makes bad decisions and bad throws. This isn't the first or even second time this season he had 3 or more interceptions in a game, plus a fumbled snap to end the drive and the game. Trade Tebow and look for A new QB on the market or in the draft. Or just go with Mecelroy if he shows promise. Something has to be done, because this team is unacceptable.

an NFL team is a business

get your disdain for Tebow and put it away.

He would fill seats, sell merchandise and having fan support around you sure helps. He would be "coming home"

Then, tell him that the job is his, no Elway in the background grumbling. I bet they could hit at least 6 wins next year. No, it's not a winning season but you want improvement. You aren't going to get the results the Broncos did by adding Peyton because the Broncos were already a decent team. Tebow will never be a Brady or Peyton but he could help rebuild the Jacksonville franchise and energize that area. Heck, look at what RG3 has done for the Redskins. Not everything is done by the hands of RG3 but it's due to his being there and introducing a bit of excitement.

My kids are going to see Jsonville vs NE and we just got the tickets. I don't think I could beg for a ticket for NE vs Miami in a few weeks but tickets are still available at jacksonville. I believe Tebow would change that and make fans at least want to go see a game or two.

I don't have anything against Tebow, he seems like a nice guy, however he's not a NFL starting QB for a reason. He's not getting the start over a guy who was drafted in the 7th round and hasn't been active for 95% of the Jets games this year for a reason. No one is looking to build a program around Tebow.

If Jacksonville is looking for a mascot in Tim Tebow like the Jets were, so be it, but I doubt any program is going to be looking to make Tebow their starting QB for obvious reasons, and no one is crazy enough to pay him starting QB type of money. Jacksonville would be far better served going after Geno Smith.

Man, as a life long Jet's fan myself, I can feel your pain... literally. This season was so frustrating for me, I was beyond the angry and on to the point of silent rage. It became so bad at the games that even firemen Ed had to give up doing the chant! This team needs a complete overhaul and needs to keep players healthy.

Yes, we do owe him 8 million. Simply amazing to me.

You don't owe him a anything. It just hasn't been accounted for on the cap yet. I say fire the GM, fire Rex, cut most of the roster eat the cap hits, suck in 2013, and start over with a coach who is looking to make a name.

Rex is not a head coach. He is a good DC coach but he isn't a head coach. The GM has walked all over him. I remember the the Woodhead situation.Rex liked him and wanted him on the roster but he caved to the GM. know the pats have a great 3rd down back and the jets have jack.

Sounds like a Christmas Miracle for Jets fans. Sanchez is asking to be released, or traded.

I wouldn't go that far. Greg McElroy getting sacked 11 times in 1 game is shameful...And who would the Jets be in the market for if Sanchez is gone? Michael Vick, Alex Smith, or a draft pick?

If the Jets pick up Vick, I will start rooting for the Giants.

The Tebow situation was just awful. Maybe he's not the best QB, but he's versatile, and he's willing to do anything asked of him out on the field. He should have been a real team player; he could have been a great addition to the running game, but instead, they benched him. Now he's pissed and wants to leave. If the Jets had just used him for something, even if not QB, he'd probably want to stay. Instead, he probably feels like he's been used for the entire season for merchandising (which is true), and has now lost a full season of experience.

How in the world did you expect Tebow to help the Jets? He's a practice team level QB and not in the top 5 guys on the Jets roster that should be touching the ball in the backfield. If you want the ball in the hands of your best players keep Tebow off the field. I don't understand how people are still buying into Tebow. You can clearly see he sucks playing QB and his own teammates feel the same way.

That's why I suggested trying him out as a running back.

And you believe that to be a wise decision considering there are 5 RBs under contract in NY that all have more talent at the position?

No Sanchez is done.he has seen his last playing days as a new york jet.I understand your pain. They should fire Ryan.I cannot believe he was stupid enough to start Sanchez in that game.I tuned it in hopes of seeing what the rookie quarterback could do thinking he would surely start him by now.No way could he have been stupid enough to start snachez in the monday noght game.I was wrong.Rex was that stupid. The proof is in the pudding.Ryan is like Wade Phillips.a good defensive coordinater but he like himhe sucks as a head coach and is not head coach material.

since you are a jets fan,any chance i could get you to reply this thread?
