The government has deliberately frozen the the 11 million figure for the last 10 years. The Bear Sterns' method of calculating illegals is more rational, at 20 million. Mass roundup and deportation is cost and logistically prohibitive. Even doubling the budget here will not address the problem. Already we have second and third generation illegals here whom are not really illegal anymore. There needs to be immigration reform BUT neither party wants to do it.....and the problem is not getting better.

Back in 1994, California passed Proposition 187, which was subsequently thrown own by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Jan Brewer tried holding back benefits to illegals and Obama walked right over that. Right now AZ is working on banning Medicaid and drivers licenses to illegals. Susana Martinez hasn't done much in New Mexico and in Texas, for all their blustering, they haven't even tried doing that.

As for the constitutionality of this; Yes, illegal aliens have constitutional rights and The Constitutional Rights of Illegal Aliens, Under the First, Second, and Fourth Amendments.

 

I'll try again...Where in the constituion does it say we have to pay criminal illegal aliens monthly payments. Please quote the exact line please.
