For every murder, they are used >8x in self-defenbse.
For every suicide, they are used >3x for self-detense.
Why do you keep ignoring this?

Are you saying that right now, you are paying for it, or that you are not getting it every day?

Who is obsessed? The classical liberal who majored in math, or the person that majors in gender studies? Is there a big market for that? I kind of think if you rack up $50k in student loans the recruiters should be on campus your junior year lining you up for a 6 figure job.

Sorry to hear that, but it is probably good advice. I would not know if the therapist's advice carries the weight of law, but I do what my doctor says.

It does not carry any legal weight. But I am unable to drive since I can not keep my attention span.

There are a lot of people with smart phones that can't keep their attention span either! So when someone drives you, buckle up. :)

The sale of your firewood will be taxed and the firewood contributes to the well being of others. You would be contributing like it or not.

On edit: the stipend spent on food and mortgage would also be contributing to the economy.

Who said anything about selling it? I just need heat.

The point is that I'll be a net drain on the system in a big way... as Im sure many others who don't see it as their responsibility to float society will as well.

I assumed you would need cash money for other expenses besides mortgage and food. My mistake.

Health care is over rated, clothes and boots are just a burden, chainsaws last forever, and grandpa never needed a vehicle to get the firewood in the shed. Honestly though, all kidding aside, a nice pair of merino wool long johns are nice when you need to make a mad dash to the woodpile in the middle of winter.

I have an old military cold weather flight deck jumpsuit from goodwill for $20 that i have yet to find cold it doesnt defeat.

Yes, I'm sure I'll have to buy the occassional odds n ends, but with $1000/mo, I could get everything else I need from nature and maintain my lifestyle without contributing in any meaningful capacity to society.

Which is why we'll never have a guaranteed basic income XD

I have sheep and a spinning wheel.

But $1,000 is way more than I usually live on.
No need to go to work if I have that.

In fact, I can also pay for a holiday home in central asia.
    Complete with hot chick.

I really should accept benefits. I could have that money for nothing if I just dropped my pants and let them do me from behind.

Voted for free food. In our family of 5 with 3 of them teenagers, food is a hefty portion of our budget. When they're older and are moving out, I'd probably want to change my answer.

I voted for sex or better yet a voucher for sex. Those "escort" bills add up even if you dont have one everyday. I offered to cut my wife in for a piece of the pie, a sweet deal for her but she left me anyway.

Depends on what "contributing" means. Anyone who works productively for a wage "contributes" but it isn't charity. They can then go to church and put part of what they earned in the plate, and that is also a contribution. And is charity.
