Trumps Interior Secretary IMMEDIATELY Reverses Obamas Spiteful Lead Ammo Ban On his first full day in office, Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke issued an order Thursday reversing a last-minute action by the Obama administration to ban lead ammunition and fish tackle used on national wildlife refuges. Gun-rights supporters condemned the earlier order issued a day before Obama left office Jan. 20 as nakedly political. I read somewhere there was talk of a ban on lead bullets in toto because of their "environmental impact." They won't stop. Ever.
There was an onion "fact checking of Trumps speech" that had one funny point. It has video fo Trump talking about his how it was not alright that there were 400 shooting deaths in Chicago. Onion had a line come up that said "false, according to Trumps support of allowing everybody to have a gun, that was perfectly acceptable" Yeah, lets hear how outraged you are about Chicago while you don't want mentally ill people to have guns, background checks to be performed, or any rules for that matter. wild west baby!!! Screw everyone's life to live and breath
The left has been screaming wild west for 30 years when almost every state implemented carry laws and nothing ever happened. Since it is apparent that the left can't tell the difference between legal and illegal immigrant, it also appears they can't tell the difference between a law abiding citizen and a gang banger.
Oh NOOOOOO! Now we're going to have LEAD in the ground! Er, wait a minnit.... It has caused an environmental catastophe in Chicago, where crews work around the clock to remove casings from the streets. http://www.theonion.com/article/city-chicago-working-around-clock-clear-18-inches--54833 How will this heavy lead concentration affect the people of Chicago? Only time will tell. Clearly we need to be better stewards of the planet.
Google Aderic White, then repeat that statement. Linky http://toprightnews.com/armed-thug-shot-by-good-samaritan-his-familys-response-is-unbelievable/
How about you actually make an argument. FAct- the simple act of owning a gun puts you at greater risk of being harmed by a gun. Fact, the US has the most guns and some of the highest amount of gun violence in this country. You can argue constitutional right all you want, make your case with facts, not nonsense. You can't deny we have an insane amount of gun violence and that is a result of so many guns floating around. YOu can't deny that if everybody walked around armed, there would be a hell of a lot more gun deaths
When you analyze actual Data, this Violence is occuring in the Ghetto, perpetrators being Minorities engaged in Drug trafficking, and collateral damages, victims, and these Criminals are already prohibited firearms, so how does more Gun Control help anything ? Crime has been decreasing for Decades now, and if you subtract Crimes by Minorities, the U.S. has a very low Crime rate, and Gun Control only affects Law Abiding Citizens.
Even if true, which you cannot prove, it is no more meaningful than saying you are more likely to die in a plane crash if you get on a plane than if you don't. Perspective: For every gun used to commit murder yesterday, 16,000,000 were not See below. You cannot prove this nonsense More appropriately... You cannot prove that law abiding people carrying guns contributes to the number of gun deaths.
It's probably all Brown Bear steel - - - Updated - - - Fact: the simple act of not owning a gun puts you at greater risk of being harmed by a human being. I do believe you when you say that the US has the highest gun violence in this country though.
Why is it then since each year more and more guns are owned by citizens, deaths by guns is not on a steep upward line, similar to the hockey stick of climate gate shame?
Such can indeed be done. False. Simply owning a firearm does not in any way put someone at greater risk of being harmed by a firearm. If such were a matter of fact then police officers would be subjected to far more harm than they are. There is simply no way that owning a firearm somehow affects the statistical probability that harm by a firearm will be experienced. Beyond such, there is the simple fact that the firearm itself does not harm anyone. Rather it is the person who is using a firearm in an illegal or negligent manner that causes harm to occur. What does this even mean? The united states has some of the highest amounts of firearm-related violence in the country? The united states is the country, it cannot be in the country. It has been proven that the majority of firearm-related violence is concentrated in specific urban areas, where the laws regulating and restricting firearms are considerably stricter than the surrounding territories where firearms are far easier to get. Eighty percent of all firearm-related violence is committed by individuals who cannot legally possess firearms, but do so regardless because they are left free in society where they can cause the greatest amount of harm to the public, because they have proven that they cannot and will not abide by the rules of society.
The majority of Firearms owners in the U.S. are Law Abiding Citizens, and not the perpetrators of Crime, these are being committed by career Criminals, a small Minority that constitutes the majority of prison inmates, and these are released to re-offend once more, Hence why you see high crime statistics, subtract those and you are left with a huge population of mostly White Law Abiding Citizens with Concealed Carry and more Firearms than any other Country on the planet even counting major Armies, yet very little Crime is committed by them.
the murder rate in the US isn't about gun ownership..it's about criminal behavior...most homicides occur in the inner city, where both victim and killer are black....the gun control crowd has wasted decades harassing law abiding citizens in rural areas and the suburbs and is directly responsible for the death toll in the hood...I suspect it's easier and more palatable to liberals to force law abiding people to jump thru a never ending series of gun laws than it is to actual confront the real problem...but they don't fool me
