I don't care about the US/Israel created list. Post actual terrorist acts that are enough to make them the number one state sponsored worldwide terrorist nation

What don't you understand about the international laws against closing international waterways and piracy?

Every attack by Hamas, hezbollah, and they were involved with 9/11. Israel has nothing to do with our state department’s list.

Strange that when an Iranian captain a couple of years ago jokingly said that Iran were preparing to sail into the Gulf of Mexico and wave at Texans on the way to Venezuala, that you all believed, so many of you were saying that it would be an act of war if he did it

Iran is already engaged on several fronts, for years: Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Gaza.

We have some pretty more sophisticated electronic jamming systems and radar homing missiles. As soon as they light them up we got them and of course we have already plotted and targeted permanent land based systems.

Name one country Iran has invaded in the last 300 years.

Meanwhile, the Iranians are simply responding to the US decision to end sanction waivers on Iranian oil imports.

Netanyahu's puppet, Trump(1) and Trump's gaggle of war mongering Ziono-Cons (Bolton, Pompeo etc) have been trying to provoke a war with Iran for Israel ever since they came to power to serve the Israeli lobbies who have been running America's Mid East Policy for decades.

"America Cannot Go to War for Israel"
    http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ahmed-moor/america-cannot-go-to-war-_b_682467.html

EXCERPT "The Zionists Benjamin Netanyahu, Jeffrey Goldberg and George Will want young American men and women to attack Iran on behalf of Israel. These are the same men who wanted young American men to attack Iraq. But Iran is not Iraq, and many thousands of Americans will die in the next war."CONTINUED

    (1) "How Netanyahu Pulls Trump’s Strings"
    https://consortiumnews.com/2017/10/15/how-netanyahu-pulls-trumps-strings/

EXCERPTS "Since Sept. 18, when the two men met in New York around the United Nations General Assembly, Netanyahu has been pulling Trump’s strings on almost every foreign policy issue.

Trump further showed that he is following Netanyahu’s marching orders with the extremist speech about Iran on Friday, essentially repeating all the Israeli propaganda lines against Iran and burning whatever bridges remained toward a meaningful diplomatic approach.

Although dressing up his capitulation to Netanyahu in tough-guy phrasing, Trump is doing what most U.S. politicians do – they grovel before Bibi Netanyahu."CONTINUED

Don't know of what you speak but Irianian ships are free to traverse the Gulf of Mexico and the US does not claim it as a territorial water.

You don't start by hitting all their missile cites. We already have air superiority then send in the wild weasals and take out their command and control. Then dare their ships to take to sea

Probably not since it would lead to wider conflicts and a lot of needless death. But we would smash the dog **** out of their piddly little navy.

    • 2012 - India concludes that the Iranian Rev. Guards were responsible for the Feb 13th attack.
    • 2015 - Barhrain security forces discover massive bomb making facility linked to the Iranian Rev. Guards.
    • 2018 - Iran diplomats expeled from Albania because of Iranian plotted terrorist atacks in the country.
    • Iran has been involved in terrorist attacks in Kenya, Argentina, Thailand, France, and Denmark.
    • Iran has ties to Al-Qaeda.
    • Iran publicly acknowledges that it financially supports and provided arms to Hamas, Hezbollah, and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.....all of which have committed numerous "terrorist attacks".
While the tag of "#1 State sponsored worldwide Terrorist Nation" is subjective, there is little doubt that Iran has sponsors many terrorist attacks and/or supported other terrorist organizations.

What does being a war have to do with terrorism? Or defending against the use of WMDs?

it'd be a disaster for the US, because Trump's sanctions don't have support abroad, and are actually only approved by a minority of our elected leaders, who are generally old, white and affluent.

Oil prices would go up suddenly, and as the OP noted not go down in the short term, and that would cause not just hardship but even hunger and worse for people worldwide and even in the US

Iraq, with US aid, attacked Iran first & Iran has not invaded Yemen.

Yes, Iran has aided Hezbollah which is defensive in nature in resisting Israeli invasions of Lebanon & Israeli, US, Saudi attempted regime change in Syria.

The reasons for Hezbollah's popular support especially in S. Lebanon is because of its humanitarian work & social services:

    "Hezbollah"
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hezbollah
EXCERPT "Hezbollah not only has armed and political wings – it also boasts an extensive social development program. Hezbollah currently operates at least four hospitals, twelve clinics, twelve schools and two agricultural centres that provide farmers with technical assistance and training. It also has an environmental department and an extensive social assistance program."CONTINUED

And 5 years later, after Iran's infrastructure is completely demolished by American force, the left would demand that we take in a million Iranian "refugees" and of course we would. Every time we engage with the Middle East, the only meaningful result seems to be massive increases in Muslim immigration to Western nations.

A staggering 58% of Muslims in America are IMMIGRANTS (most of which came AFTER 9/11). Iran is not a threat to America. Muslim immigration on the scale of the last two decades is.

Why the hell should we take down Iran for the Saudis? Screw Saudi Arabia, if they want to demolish their opponents let them do it themselves. It was Saudis who did 9/11 and here we are again acting like their personal little bitch... I loathe the Saudis above all countries in the world.
