    It's a possibility some day. You think other countries haven't done this before? However, If they don't know you have a gun, they can't take it from you. The gun grabbers are starting their list,

    I respect that the organization is looking for a public vote on the issue rather than some closed-doors meeting at the governors mansion. I also like to see states asserting their own rights. The proposal seems in line--mostly--with the 2A. I don't think registering your guns hinder your ability to form a militia. Confiscation, however, would almost certainly be unconstitutional. I can't imagine how they might word it to get around that. The courts would overturn such a policy.

    Did I say something funny? Give us all the LEGITIMATE reasons the government needs to know the name, address, and gun a citizen owns. You are going to struggle....... mightily.

    Let me be clear. I’m not saying I’m for registering. Let me say that again....I’m NOT for registering. But I’m also not paranoid enough to think they’re coming to get me if we did have to register.

    Then you should have no problem coming up with a list. Private gun ownership is a "need to know" basis. The government doesn't have a good reason to know. What does that accomplish?. Like I said, when you think this through, you will have a difficult time.

    What part of ‘I’m NOT for it’ did you not get? Just because I won’t be paranoid if we did have to register doesn’t mean I need to come up with a list to justify it. Again, I’m NOT for it. Don’t know how many times I have to say that before it sinks in for you. Seems you’re just pi55y because I don’t care either way.

    When guns are registered, all it takes is a stroke of a pen for some, or all, guns to be deemed illegal. And yes, government agents will go to the doors of those owning these illegal firearms and confiscate the guns by whatever means necessary.

    Because that's how it began in Germany, the UK and recently in Australia. First there was a call for universal registration of all firearms. Then when the gov't had knowledge of where and how many firearms were located, they began to confiscate the weapons and those that refused were arrested.

    Here we have the makings of mass insurrection by folks, if they CLAIM them LIBS is bein UNCONSTITUTIONAL. And, they assume they have the military behind them. With the Oathkeepers meaning cops are really right wingers too, just waiting to back the SOVEREIGN CITIZENS.

    Just like the Democrats. However guns in the hands of the people empowers the peoples if only politicians and their protectors have guns the politicians have all the power and the people having no ultimate recourse are screwed.
