    I think a better question is, "Has the left already destroyed this country?" It is coming apart at the seams, and the left is entirely to blame. I think Civil War II has started, and the meaning of America is at stake.

    Idiot. The only people becoming violent over the existence of these statues are blacks & leftists. And the proper response to people getting violent over a statue is prison and psychiatric care.

    Where is it being relocated?

    Will it remain visible to the public as now?

    Why is it being relocated, and at whose behest?

    What will the cost be?

    Do you feel that the Jefferson Memorial, MLK Memorial, Iwo Jima, Washington Monument, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Lincoln Memorial and numerous other *offensive* works of art and history MUST be removed, relocated and/or destroyed because they are equally *offensive?*

    Should the Declaration of Independence be hidden or burned because a slave-holding, genocidal serial rapist penned it?

    That isn't the reason they should be removed. In fact Robert E Lee himself didn't believe in him and they celebrate a cause that was a mistake, a very bloody mistake.

    Mexico had human sacrifice. Then it had slavery under the Spaniards. Then it had the system of patrons and peasants. Then it had a 10-year civil war. Now it is awash in drug lords. it is the murder capital of the world.

    And oh yeah, it still has the system of patrons and peasants.

    A Mexican friend of mine described it as 10 percent of the population paying another 10 percent to keep the other 80 percent away from them.
