It's funny how defenders of the constitution have become "damn liberals" in your eyes.

Unlike liberals, conservatives would apply the law to everyone

Including mcveigh to was executed for his crime

Can germany say that about your terrorists?

Except that is the opposite of your position. You want to be strip a natural born citizen of her citizenship because she has done something you don't like. Without any basis in law, and contrary to her constitutional rights.

You, as a conservative, would strip her of her constitutional rights.

Apart from the fact that we do not have the death penalty and someone with us can not be sentenced to 85 times life imprisonment or other bullcrap like 583 years prison without probation ... Yes, we have ... and in parts it comes in and also more effective and better, but in other areas not as far as the comparison is concerned.

If she has done something I dont like?

You bet I dont like giving shelter to Yemeni’s and having them turn against us later

If she is a citizen I want to see her punished for treason

Starting with leaving her to rot in a Kurdish prison camp for years if possible

    Wrong. It's pretty simple, really.

Either you believe in rule of law and the Constitution (even when you don't like the outcome), or you don't.

You claim to be in favor of rule of law, but turn your back on it if you don't like the outcome. If you support the rule of law and the Constitution, you will be against stripping a natural born citizen of her citizenship.

If you want to strip her of her citizenship, you cannot claim to be in favor of rule of law. Simple.

If she is a citizen, she has a right to return to the country.

By the way, she is not in a Kurdish prison camp, but a refugee camp.

Constitutional rights such as due process?

Everyone deserves a fair trial and all that stuff?

Those kinds of things, but I am specifically referring to her citizenship. You seemed to be saying that you would like to strip her of her citizenship and prevent her from returning to the country.

I am just trying to understand how that position is consistent with your stated position that, "Unlike liberals, conservatives would apply the law to everyone". It seems you want to strip her of constitutional rights, which doesn't sound much like "applying the law to everyone". It sounds like singling her out to be treated differently (i.e. strip her citizenship).

Are you serious about me doing a pro / contra discussion about the death penalty?

Since you have caught the wrong German, because I am at various Verbechen quite for the death penalty.
The majority from the very left to the far right sees it at us differently
