The Paula Jones case was based on a sexual harassment in the work place law suit that a private citizen can pursue even on a sitting president. You are president not king and you still have to be held accountable for breaking laws. It's not being alleged that Trump broke any laws if he had an affair before he was elected president and this interview is nothing but salacious muckraking.

Again, the right actually paid Paula Jones legal fees to keep that case on the front page. And in doing so they injected Monica into the conversation. Injecting Monica Lewenski (a consensual relationship) was the very same thing the dems are doing now.

It IS salacious, but remember, Trump made it that by projecting a moral high ground during the campaign.

How about the Clinton defenders who hailed themselves as the feminist, the champions of women in the workplace, the fighters against sexual harassment in the workplace who fought to have male bosses held accountable fired for abusing subordinate female workers?
And why do you paint it as Clintons sxandals were just about a consenual affair and nothing more?

 

Monica Lewinsky was a subordinate employee who was enegaged in a sexual affair in the workplace with a boss who was being sued by a former subordinate employee for sexual harassment. Under the Moliinari Amendment, which was signed into law by President Clinton to much fanfare by the womens rights groups, such sexual conduct is subject evidentuary inquirey in a sexual harassment lawsuit.

If there is no legal injunction in place, and there is none as far as I know, why didn't 60 Minutes Minus 24 Minutes Commercials air the Stormy thing last night (afaik they didn't air it)?

The Monica affair was not only while president but was a workplace sexual encounter that was relevant to the Paula Jones case. Trump's presidency and sex escapades if true are not relevant to his presidency. As for Trump ever declaring moral high ground I have no idea what you are talking about. Everyone knew he had multiple marriages and known affairs when he was running for office. This is nothing but muckraking on 60 minutes part.

 

Not relevant to his presidency . . . unless he had his people paying her off during the campaign, trying to intimidate her into silence during the campaign and during the presidency, and lying to the public about it all . . . oops.
