There's no such thing as "hate group" - that's just a term invented by the SPLC and has no bearing on law.

The SPLC is also biased since with a few exceptions, it specifically mentions right-wing "hate groups" while excluding left-wing groups (ex. such as some radical feminist groups, including a now defunct website which was more or less a feminist Stormfront, where members discussed killing males and instituting eugenics such as forced abortion of male fetuses).

It was written by the group of people that successfully rebelled against the Crown and then founded the United States; it was then ratified by those states and the people contained therein.

Clearly. in not only not being familiar with the US Constitution, you are also not familiar with liberty and freedom.

Then it sounds like you don't even know your own country's history at even a High school level.

You're English but don't even know who the colonists who won their independence from you are, or what the 1st Amendment is?

I listened to everything you have said so far, and I hate to be the messenger here but if there is a narcissist here, you are the champ. Even if religion is abstract dribble, you can never defeat it because anybody who is offended by profanities isn't up for the challenge. :roflol:

Do you think citizens of america are really free? Your fight with the British to over throw one set of laws was in vein for a group of narcissist men to create there own laws. Most of you still lives of inequality while the victorious sit on their thrown s, you are still slaves and don't realise it. You work to get the rich richer and you will be cast aside when the crunch comes.

I am not offended by profanities, they are not even real words so how can a profanity hurt me?

Nothing in your response changes the fact that it is legally impossible to ban religion here, and that it shall so remain.

Correct me if I am wrong, congress, the governing body of the United states are the Law and can do what ever they like. They can quite easily burn the constitution and start again. They have all the power, that is why earlier on I mentioned it is down to the governments to outlaw religion. A law is only worth as much as the enforcement.

Why don't you outlaw religion in your won country of Backasstan first. Why are you so interested in what we do here in the States?

Not real words? Are you kidding me? Of course they are real words, not only are they real, they have meanings. People who use them are found to be the most truthful individuals you will find, since anybody who doesn't use them is creating an image of themselves to convince others they are something they probably are not. How old are you?

Backa where? I am not interested in the states , I am talking worldwide, and I did not know this forum was American based, it was a random google choice, it said politics, so politics are politics where ever they are based.

    You are wrong.
But then, you argue from admitted ignorance, so that's to be expected.

The federal government has no such power; the federal government may propose changes to the Constitution, but the states and the people must approve.
    Which they will not.

Im 42 and have kids so I am in the practice of not using profanities, and profanities just don't bother me, I have little emotion that is why I am able to be so blunt. I do not really have a passion for this, I just think it is logically correct.

Right now I'm not worried about religion, I'm way more worried about a British person who says he doesn't even know what the American Revolution and the 1st Amendment is thinking he's in a position to decide government policies.

So the people are happy to live a fairy tale life and not see reality? would people not prefer the quiet life without worry of religious conflict and knowing the money from this abstract state of living was being put to proper uses?

I know about the revolution and you had a constitution, but I do not know what your constitution entails. However this still does not justify religion does it!

You mean your version of reality.
People here are free to practice their religion; this freedom is guaranteed by the Constitution,.
That you do not agree with their decision to do so matters not one whit.
    Not one.

Well it just shows that a lot of these New Atheists aren't really that educated. Apparently they think that the height of education is "not believing the earth is 6,000 years old".

Correcting you because of course you're wrong.
To ensure a separation of powers, the U.S. Federal Government is made up of three branches: legislative, executive and judicial. To ensure the government is effective and citizens’ rights are protected, each branch has its own powers and responsibilities, including working with the other branches.

Anyone trying to outlaw religion would soon find themselves out of a legislative job.

Militant atheists, such as our English friend here, are rather entertaining.

That, and a sound explanation as to why your idea, at least as far as its implementation on the US, is laughable.

Whether you find the idea laughable is irrelevant, surely your constitution allows for premise for argument to the constitution? Your constitution is ''defending Alice in wonderland''.
