GCA's want victims, the more blood spilled, the more power they can try to grab. However what they fail to understand or simply choose to ignore is, the more they get their way, the more blood will be spilled, because their programs remove from the law abiding a very useful tool to prevent violence, by criminals, from happening.

I'm worried a simple poll is proving very difficult for American gun owners. That is concerning. It's likely you wouldn't get a shotgun and/or firearms certificate in the UK if you display such problems.
The fact you are posting a poll that is preloaded to fit a narrative which you support and by the limitation of answers it becomes a lie by omission. Anyone who doesn't, shouldn't have access to sharp objects, nor less an firearm.

I personally would hope he picked the rifle (in a mall?). With a bullet, there's a chance I might survive. Since I'm not likely to outrun him, I don't fancy the pain of being slashed or stabbed to death.
I would never ban guns. That's just an American pro gun fallacy. Why they default to this mental state of mind of all guns v no guns is puzzling. I even did a thread on this mental issue. You can have guns but their size, calibre etc.. can be regulated to create a safer environment. Can I ask you why you can't see this concept?
