Oh? How would you like to compare them then? Who you find cuter? Who has the cooler TD celebration? Because Aaron Rodgers dwarfs Tim Tebow in terms of actual talent.

The game is about winning the championship. There can be great players that don't, and that is never forgotten, and tarnishes them. If you aren't winning championships, all you are doing is putting up numbers.

Thanks for getting my back, SEC. Obviously, which I thought I made clear, Rodgers - along with Brees & Brady - are on a different QB planet than Tebow & just about everybody else. I was just taking a statistical snapshot of this past Sundays games between the two. I keep hearing how Tebow can't be an accurate passer & all he is, is a running back pretending to be a QB. Well, this past Sunday, he was not a running QB, with only 2 planned runs, an improvement in the game plan, IMO & he was a 67% passer, which was very similar to his college %, another vast improvement. It's true, he still needs some work & probably will never inhabit that planet mentioned above, but I still think the guy is special & will turn out to be great in his own way. He is still all but a rookie.

You keep hearing I because it's true, as of right now at least. He is the least accurate starting QB in the NFL at 47%. He throws for the least amount of yards per game out of any starting QB at 105.

Don't give me this "he's all but a rookie" garbage. He signed a 12 million dollar contract and is being completly outperformed by Andy Dalton and Cam Newton, two actual rookies. Both 60% passers that average 220 and 274 yards per game. Without a doubt, Tebow has jacked up throwing mechanics. That's just a fact, the ball starts at his hip.

I do happen to find the Tebow circle jerk funny though. The worst passing QB in the league happens to be the next coming of Christ in so many people's eyes.

I watched him throw the ball Sunday at MN, and he looked pretty accurate to me.

In fact, the announcer compared his numbers to Ben Rothlesburger.

Only a few passes, but a lot of yards and a couple of TDs.

Tebow is still developing, but he is obviously going to be a good QB.

He has the mental skills to handle to pressure, and the physical skills to develop into a good QB.

6-1 under Tebow is still 6-1, no one who's a Broncos fan should complain.

Yet he remains to be the least accurate QB in the NFL. His throwing mechanics are poor and he has a slow release time. These are not opinions I'm stating.

Almost every QB in the league is still developing, but the fact remains he's the worst passer of the bunch.

Unfortunately for your retarded argument, football happens to be a team sport.

In his first few games he barely threw the ball, and his receivers dropped a lot of balls. Sunday his completion rate was 67%.

You can believe the stats if you want, but they are not an accurate reading of Tebow. He just hasn't played enough to say that.

Yeah, and it a game about winning, not about individual stats.

Cam Newton, as you pointed out has GREAT stats, but his team sucks.

Tebow has modest stats, but his team is playoffs bound.

Tebow obviously has something more significant than what the statisticians can calculate. If not, then why were the Broncos losing so badly before Tebow got the nod?

And there we have it. The peak of an absurd argument. Tebow plays worse at a position yet he's the reason they're winning, while some unseen magical force that he carries with him is the intangible factor of success for a ball club. Am I getting this about right? This is where fandom and logic go there seperate ways.

And the Broncos were not losing "so bad" before Tebow, 3 of their loses we're 4 points or less. The worse loss of the season came to Detroit while Tebow started.

Modest stats my ass, he has the worst stats in the NFL. Quit with the nut hugging already.

4-8, but I'm under the impression that Cam plays for a different team on the opposite end of the country.

I think Cam has a LOT of potential. So does Tebow.

People who are being so highly critical of Tebow are eating crow....LOL

    Tebow in 2011:

    75/158, 47.5 Comp %, 1,054 passing yards, 10TD -1INT, 87.9 passer rtg
    82 rushes, 468 yds, 3 TD

Not the prettiest but far from the worst.

I should have clarified that statement, he's the worst in terms of completion % and yards passing per game.

Folks that trash n' bash Tebow are, for the most part, Christian haters. They see him as the Last Boy Scout and they want to tear him down at every chance. They want to see him fail.

The biggest bust this year isn't Tim Tebow, it's Michael Vick.

A multi-million dollar contract, pre-season talk of the Eagles being Super Bowl contenders and the team is a big bust.

The same folks that hate Tebow love Vick...go figure.

We'll see what kind of QB he turns out to be.

You are making a judgment based on a few stats from a few games.

6-1 under Tebow is 6-1, and now at the top of their division.

Vick claims to be a Christian as well, so I'm not sure what that has to do with anything. Silly comment and speculation if you ask me.

But I agree, Vicks not worth what he's being payed.

As are you. But my thoughts on Tebow revolve arounds current stastical facts, your assumptions come from gut feelings, being a fan, or whatever because you're defiently not basing your opinions around performance.

Not this year anyway, especially since he's injured and the "Dream Team" is living in a sucky reality.
