I don’t see why his critics pan him and wet the bed for simply having said that he would have preferred Bin Laden to stand trial against whatever the charges were meant to be (Being the Grand Leader of the Big Scary Underground Lair Gang?). So what?

I am honestly at a loss as to why that’s even a thing. Isn’t that what the formal position of the *coughs* “West” always was – that they wanted to bring him to a trial?

Unless they were lying and always intended to kill him with no trial and no evidence brought forth in an international court. Can’t be that, because no way would politicians lie or act with vested interest.

I would have liked to see Bin Laden on trial as well. Doesn’t mean I give a toot about him - I don’t. It does mean I’d have been very interested to see the trial play out.

He has enemies because, among other things, he doesn’t have a very good history of being a “friend of Israel” ™. If you want to go far in this system, you really have to pretend you love Israel and say good stuff. “Only democracy in the region”, “pushing us into the sea”, “right to defend themselves”, and “existential threat” are good phrases to throw out.

I don’t think there will even be a UK in 5yrs time. It was already a close call last time over for the Scots to leave, and that was with relentless fear propaganda. The SNP also made some critical errors that probably cost them more votes and a win. A few years of this cabal of weirdo’s and kiddie fiddlers in Westminster, and I’d imagine Scots would this time vote “yes” to leave.

I personally cannot think of a policy I disagree with him on.

I was watching Question Time a time back. I rarely watch it because it’s utter mince, the audience are so clearly contrived, and I rarely like anyone they have on the panel.

I am esp not fond of this thing for bolting some failed comedian like Russel Brand onto it. Anyway, what amazed me was how utterly ignorant some of our supposedly respected journalists and anchors are. Dimbelby had no clue what fractional reserve banking was when the subject came up. Nil. None. I may not expect the average person to have an idea, but this guy is probably on over a million per season. He is the anchor. Shows how dumbed down standards have become.

Reason I mention it? Corbyn has made noises more than once that would essentially compute to the nation just basically printing their own money rather than borrowing it at rates of interest that you can never hope to be paid back, and were never designed to.

That’s quite audacious for someone in the mainstream. If he keeps educating people in how money is created, then he will do two things. He will wake up a lot of people to debt slavery and usury. And he will invite some very serious enemies.

That was absurd, naïve and stupid, typical uber-leftist wishful thinking in the first place but then he went on to say to the Iranian public that the assassination of Bin Laden was a tragedy.

No sure quite what you are wanting but nice to see you and hope life is treating you well. I will have a go. The BBC were saying today that he has far to big a mandate for any kind of coup. Now I also know of 12 resignations. I would go here to the Bella article I put in a link from. There they talk about it being those at the top of the Party who are out of touch and hence the resignations would seem appropriate. The also point out that Labour was on the verge of losing the main Unions and that now instead they can work together. They are optimistic it is a coming home for Labour. Here is the link http://bellacaledonia.org.uk/2015/09/12/corbyn-victory-a-great-boost-for-labour/

The Labour leadership frontrunner can be heard saying the solution should ‘be law, not war’. And it’s that which he consider tragic, because he’s against the death penalty.

‘There was no attempt whatsoever that I can see to arrest him, to put him on trial, to go through that process.
‘This was an assassination attempt, and is yet another tragedy, upon a tragedy, upon a tragedy.’
Corbyn goes on: ‘The World Trade Centre was a tradegy, the attack on Afghanistan was a tragedy, the war in Iraq was a tragedy. Tens of thousands of people have died. Torture has come back on to the world stage, been canonised virtually into law by Guantanamo and Bagram.
‘Can’t we learn some lessons over this?’

Oh he merely expressed his personal feelings on this matter I suppose : “This was an assassination attempt, and is yet another tragedy, upon a tragedy, upon a tragedy." he said

Yes, I read him say he had been misreported which you did too initially. Of course an extrajudicial killing is not something that people who believe in International Law would support. It was the going against International Law rather than a fair and proper trial which he did not agree with. It is most certainly a tragedy that some of the West no longer goes by International Law.

I beg your pardon but he did say that, here is his exact words and there is no denying that to him the assassination of Bin Laden is a tragedy: "This was an assassination attempt, and is yet another tragedy, upon a tragedy, upon a tragedy."

Indeed. I recently learned that a guy called Daniel Bethlehem was instrumental in reshaping perceptions of international law in this area:

Ah is that where you were. No I did not see that but on reading it the thing that I felt was most succinct was when he spoke of none of them having any insight. That has probably been the biggest problem with British politics these past thirty years and keeping that away the easiest way to keep a docile population. I am off to sleep now.

Ha ha. Max Blumenthal on his twitter account once put a reporting on Jeremy Corbyn in which he blocked out half of what he said to illustrate how the press reports him. You have deliberately not put things in context. Here is what he said first
That was the tragedy. Ignoring International Law and doing an extra judicial killing rather than attempt to bring him to trial.

I have absolutely no doubt that if Corbyn was in charge he would have sent an extradition request to the government of Pakistan .... and to the government of ISIS for the two recently whacked british jihadists.... Fortunately he is not electable even in the UK.

And frankly I could not care less what a Max Blumenthal said or did not say on his twitter account. Corbyn on the other hand did say that the assassination of Bin Laden was a tragedy and his supporters are now getting dizzy from all that spinning which is not fooling anyone either. :D

The media and most of the body politic being so afraid of one elderly man to this extent demonstrates how weak and illusionary and paranoid they really are.
Trying to now call him a “threat to national security” – oh my sides. :roflol:

In what possible way is this old fella a threat to national security? So what if he’s anti trident. That doesn’t make him a threat to national security.

It will cost a vast amount of money, money which I assume will be borrowed from international bankers and therefore involve crippling rates of interest. In what sort of whacky world is it a threat to maybe not have a massive arsenal of nukes and spend it on better stuff instead?

What exactly is it people think having Trident would protect us from? Nuclear attack? Who is going to even try to nuke this country?

And if some nuclear enabled nation were to, then it’s not like having trident shoots the enemy war head out of the sky. The nation would be in ruins and devastation, the nation that hit the button first would win – therefore, unless Britain were of a mind that they would hit the button first then it is pointless.

The leader of the second (most likely formerly second) major British political party is a left-wing radical lunatic who calls Hamas and Hezbollah his friends, who defends (justifies, explains, understands, whatever) ISIS and british citizens joining it, who considers the assassination of Bin Laden a tragedy... lest we forget his other rather extremist views on domestic and foreign issues.

"This old fella" would be sitting on his hands waiting for british-born terrorists to strike in Britain instead of whacking them while they are still plotting in Syria the way Cameron did. And after these terrorists have killed scores of Brits he would be appealing to the Hague and asking ISIS to extradite them instead of tracking them down and blowing them up. Isn't that how international law expects a law-abiding national leader to handle terrorist threats?

So? The present incumbent is just throwing open the doors to god knows who and for who knows where, many of whom could be killers for all we know. This is being done under the generic meme of "fleeing war zone/seeking better life"™. Why have the gulf states said they won't take them? Because..........they believe there are killers and terrorists among them.

So. Set against that present backdrop, which is in the here and now, and an outright invasion, why would I honestly worry about what a guy who will never be PM said or did not say about Bin bleeding Laden?

Fair enough about the present dude and I am surprised that the conservative voice is not heard by the conservative government...or perhaps the conservative voice is missing in action or worse supportive of these insane immimgration policies.... That being said Corbyn would be worse, much worse, he'll do what Merkel just did - he'll accept 800,000 "migrants" and ask for more.

This is on purpose and it is being done in ONLY nations that are majority white. You aren’t seeing any Gulf states take in so called “refugees” for a good reason – they know and have stated that there are murderers and probably terrorists among their number.

Even if only .5% turned out to be bombers and terrorists, this is devastating when you consider that Germany has already foisted 800,000 of them onto its people, and that our own weak PM, David Cameron, has just agreed to take in thousands more.

It’s worth noting that while the term “Syrian” is oft used, that many of these invaders are not in fact Syrian at all. The media, which is also a large part of the treachery, they may cherry pick a few choice pics of a toddler washed up on the beach. But look closer. By far the biggest % are not women or children, but military aged men. If they are able bodied and of military age, why are they not fighting for their country on their soil then? They are deserters even to their own country.
