Trump has used executive order as much or more that Obama on a pro Rafa basis. No POTUS aided any Drug Cartels with weapons. There was a limited experiment where weapons were used to attempt to trace the flow of such weapons. It was indeed one stupid but isolated experiment that went wrong. There was no intent to aid smuggling it was a failed attempt to figure out how smuggling occurs and by who.

President Trump has signed Executive Orders. That fact is not in doubt, but he has not used the EO's to enact laws or bypass the Legislature. Obama used EO to bypass the legislature in starting a new program known as DACA. The SCOTUS ruled that the EO created new law because current Immigration laws do not allow Deferments. Obama also used Executive orders to enact new automobile emissions standards. This was also ruled unconstitutional.

Your post would be true if you were talking about Bush's Operation Wide Receiver. In that operation, tracking devices were hidden in the Butt of the guns, and they notified the Mexican Government of the operation. The operation failed because the trackers failed, and the Mexican Government did not provide the support that they said they would. In Obama's Operation Fast and Furious, there were no tracking devices, and the Mexican Government was not informed of the operation. That means that the ATF had no way to track these weapons once they crossed the border. The lib blew off this can of worms when a Border Patrol Agent was killed with one of the weapons. When asked, the Obama and Eric Holder claimed that they had no knowledge of the operation. This is strange, because Holder was given a written daily briefing that included the status of the operation. Holder claimed that he was not reading those daily briefings. Further, Obama and Holder attempted to cover the keep the GOP led Congress from the material about the operation. They attempted to assert Executive Privilege even though they claimed that they had no knowledge of the operation. In the end, Holder had to resign after he was cited for Contempt of Congress. Further, the SCOTUS ruled that EP did not apply.

The Obama Administration used a fake dossier paid for by Hillary Clinton Campaign and the DNC. They then used that fake dossier to illegally obtain a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump Campaign. According to the FBI Inspector General (who was appointed to the position by Obama) found that there no less then 17 significate inaccuracies and omissions. Further, the Mueller report exonerated the Trump Campaign of the fake claim of colluding with the Russians. Lying to obtain illegal FISA Warrants and no proof of wrongdoing equals a fake investigation.
