John Kelly speech on the infamous phone call debacle

It's Trump reaction after the event that is the biggest embarrassment for your country. A normal person in his position would have been the bigger person and just apologised for the misunderstanding instead of accusing everyone else of lying. If he had shown some humility, he would have received sympathy from the likes of people like me who would hate to be put in a position of comforting someone who had lost a special person.

Now, Congresswoman Wilson says she wasn’t in Congress early enough to secure the funding. However, she did take credit for getting the building named for the FBI agents. She called General Kelly a “liar” for his characterization of her comments.

You are over your head due to narrow mindedness and hate perpetrated by Wilson and MSM. The press has repeatedly mischaracterized and overblown this entire incident.

Although all 4 of these soldiers served honorably, you may have noticed Johnson's maroon beret. That signifies that he completed 4 weeks of airborne jump school. The 3 other soldiers were Green Beret Special Forces, Johnson's beret signifies that he was attached and probably assigned to a Special Forces unit, but in a support role and is not Special Forces qualified.

I point out this fact as just one of many that the press has gotten dead wrong.

Kelly's comments were fine up till the point he made the false accusations attacking the Congress women, for that he should apologize

if I was the congress women, I would go public and apologize to Trump and say, were sorry if the family and I mistook what he said during their time of grief of the loss of a loved one, be the first time ever the friends and family of a deceased loved one that made the ultimate sacrifice for the country had to apologize to the President to make him feel better

 

Which means nothing except that Wilson is a vindictive loose cannon. What Trump said was true. He called Johnson's wife to express sincere condolences. In his own words, he expressed the fact that Johnson volunteered for dangerous duty. He knew what he was getting into but was killed serving his country honorably. Only a hate filled person with a motive to discredit the president, like Wilson would misconstrue the meaning of what Trump said.

None of the other soldiers families Trump has called has expressed anything but gratitude. Not the soldiers killed in Niger or other soldiers killed elsewhere. Trump has called soldiers of all colors. None have reacted and politicized his calls except Johnsons wife, because of Wilson. She needs to be recalled. She is the racist and a disgrace.

President Trump promised to personally donate $25,000 to the father of a fallen soldier and create an online fundraiser for the soldier’s family but didn't follow through, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.

Trump told Chris Baldridge, whose son was killed in Afghanistan in June, that he would “write you a check out of my personal account for $25,000,” Baldridge told the Post.

“I could not believe he was saying that, and I wish I had it recorded because the man did say this,” Baldridge said. “He said, ‘No other president has ever done something like this,’ but he said, ‘I’m going to do it.’ ”

White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters later told the Post that the check "has been sent."

"It’s disgusting that the media is taking something that should be recognized as a generous and sincere gesture, made privately by the president, and using it to advance the media’s biased agenda," she said.

This is yet another example of how far the media is willing to cause further divide with hate.
