Things are different in Canada. The fact is, they do come here, some because they don't want to wait in line, others because they want the best medical care and don't feel Canada can provide it.

Actually, what you're saying is that the working class should pay for the health care insurance for the 1% but not be allowed to pay for their own.

Further, if the average person cannot buy affordable insurance, we will all pay for their care. As with Reagan's EMTALA.

Many don't like the individual mandate and the tax fine if you don't buy insurance but trump care keeps that fine.

The trump fans need to be careful what they wish for.

Those with means, will go wherever they care to.

If treatment is better yet more expensive here, I would guess they'd try to get here, & be treated.

Eventually, all the Republicans will flip.

Heller already did. One threat from trump, and his vote changed. We'll see the same from all of them. They'll make a little noise so they can save some votes but, they'll vote against the working class. They always do. That's why we call them Republicans.

I don't see how you got that from my post, & I'm not a Trump "fan".

ObamaCares does not "provide" any treatment at all.

ObamaCares is not insurance or a hospital.

However, losing it will mean the closure of many hospitals and clinics, the loss of hundreds of thousands of jobs and the deaths of an untold number of Americans.

The party was infiltrated by corrupt corporate greed and sociopaths who have no trouble kicking the average American to the curb.

So you go on a rant about how McCain has better health care than everyone else. Then when it's pointed out that most rich people do, it's a bullshit premise. Yeah, you're not a partisan hack. What a world.

Such as your premise that McCain voted to repeal Obamacare is utter BS?

Since you don't even understand what was voted on, nor did you listen to his speech, you really shouldn't be commenting.

    Not bullshit at all.

In fact, that's the entire point, in one sentence.

    Thanks.

US politicians enjoy platinum plans with small deductibles and most of their premiums paid by the public. Thanks, obama.

    Nope.

President Obama had nothing to do with it.

In fact, they pay more on ObamaCares than they did before.

They voted this for themselves LONG before Obama was elected prez.

If trump care passes, most of us would not be able to afford the price tag of more than $75K that his procedure cost.

Look up your own situation and your state.

While I hope that he beats the cancer in his brain, McCain is a hypocrite plain and simple. No two ways out of it.

McCain voted in favor of the next procedural step the Republicans' needs to go forward with repealing ObamaCares.

So yes, he did vote to repeal/replace.

I think we're all overlooking the fact that this vote, was to continue debate.

Did you listen to McCain's speech along with the vote?
He stated he would not support the current GOP bill to repeal & replace.
He does favor discussion and always has.

    His speech was truly wonderful.
And I haven't forgiven him since bringing Palin into our lives and being so pro War.
Still, his speech was wonderful and spoke of coming together and discussing as they use to do.

ObamaCare is just too expensive on the working poor, especially with families.
It reeks of making sure hospitals don't lose too much on a patient who can't pay and has no insurance.
And with no gov't option, one must pay profits to a Health Insurance company is odious.

Bring on the competition and gov't alternative.
Bring on competitive medical billing fees and not allow such fees just for a selected group of members.
If a health care provider offers a good price to a group, it should be available for all.

If you did not hear McCain's speech today,
you are encouraged to take a few minutes actually 15 minutes ;) and listen.

I should have said insurance that Congress provides since TriCare is insurance that government provides.

Then why did he vote for a plan that does none of the things he spoke of ?

You act as though cancer hasn't happened to people without insurance before.

He is a politician. His insurance is part of being a politician. It's a benefit. Just like most employees used to get until your Government stuck its nose where it didn't belong.

If you consider 'voting for the working class' 'stealing from anyone who makes more than you do', then you're a Democrat.
