Sure, regulation like making abortion illegal. Glad you agree.

If officials can be paid to look the other way then make it illegal and let law enforcement handle it.

What you say is an indication of how ineffective they are. Of course it also shows how effective the republicans have been at same.

Exactly, the RED STATE shunned the abortion ban just like we said they would. Fact the Dems have the House, Senate and Presidency and did nothing to solve the problem federally. They easily could have struck a clean bill comprise with 15-20 restrictions with exceptions, but they did nothing and only wanted people like the OP's hair on fire. Every women in this country can get an abortion today.

The dems would prefer that the sky fall rather than to see democracy at work. This vote result just goes to show how the banning of abortion is not a foregone conclusion of the SC overturning R vs. W despite what the left would have us believe.

Well damn were you wrong, every woman in this country can get an abortion today, just like last year. The Dems had six weeks to pass an abortion bill for some reason they didn't even though they didn't need 1 single republican vote. Now they would've gotten several republican votes if they would have put sensible restriction and exceptions, but notta, nothing. So red states like Kansas made their voice heard through the ballet box, just like the founders intended.

I take it you now understand why the SC sent this issue state level :) The will of the people of every state is far more inclusive and fairer to all involved..

The people of Kansas voted to keep abortion. Kudos to them for doing their Democratic civic duty as a state by letting the people of Kansas decide and not the federal government.

Yawn, the left doesn't need Garland, they can pass a FEDERAL LAW by themselves. Garland can't accomplish crap, by the time he ever gets his courtroom to enforce and get his coveted media attention, all states will have a new law voted on by the state's citizens. Bottom line, Every woman in this country can get an abortion today.

Nah, I don't sweat the small stuff. Besides I know that folks may misunderstand something. I believe in giving folks the benefit of the doubt and my feelings do not get hurt.

Yes they do and those women are being listened to. Thier stories are getting out and every woman considering pregnancy will feel concerned for their own well being. It does not matter what you believe is in the legislation what is important is what women voters are hearing about the consequences of that legislation
