McEnany pointed out that Trump won slightly more support from Black voters than Romney did in his 2012 presidential bid against President Barack Obama. But she falsely claimed that Romney won 2% of Black voters, when he actually won 6%.

"Mitt Romney can say three words outside on Pennsylvania Avenue but I would note this, that President Trump won 8% of the black vote, Mitt Romney won 2% of the Black vote," McEnany said.

Critics pointed out that Trump's 8% support among Black voters is a dismal percentage and mocked the press secretary for promoting that statistic.

Just a side story about my dad and identification. When I was young, early grammar school age we lived in the city and within easy walking distance to our church. We lived in a neighborhood justvstarting to change ethnic mix. It was Good Friday we were walking back from Good Friday services. Back then in our state you could not buy alchohol on Good Friday ( we still had blue laws). Near home there were two. About three guys of the newest ethnic were sitting on their front porch and drinking beer. I knew that was "wrong" ( my mom was anti alchohol) so I pointed out to my dad that those guys were drinking beer on Good Friday. I asked him why they were doing thatnand what kind of people they were. He said matter of factly......."demokrati .." ( Democrats in Ukrainian).......... years later I got to understand after hearing him use that identification at times that he actually meant small 'd' "democrats" .

It's become so common to see personal slurs being used against Trump and supporters in lieu of substantive arguments, I expect that from them. Sort of like the go-to move most every time.
Not just here- media, reporters, politicians have adopted it that way. I'd very much like to respect them, and that is one of the reasons I can't.

I just the .01% of the iceberg of personal slurs spit out by Trump. So how does anyone repect Trump. Too many of his supporters either go along with this personal attack action or privately say they wish he would not say many things. Senators either ignore questions about Trump's spitting out of personal atacks, his lies, or they look down at their shoes and mumble incorhent BS as they run away from reporters. How can anyone respect Trump or the Congress people who fail to man up.

As it happens I think most of the complaints are lies. The only people more distrusted than congress are used car salesmen and the press and with good reason.

 

Less than .005% of all 53,000,000 police interactions have a complaint of excessive force. And even fewer than that are justified complaints.
