Funny how the whole regime change crowd turned anti-war all of a sudden.

With that in mind, I hoped that Bush was correct in lifting sanctions against Libya.. You see I liked living in Libya... I hoped that Khadafi had matured and was ready to be a better leader.

Go back and read the language of the authorization.. Bush was authorized to "go after terrorism" wherever he chose..

 

How about a tiny bit of logic re Libya? No. 1 Obama only got into the basically civil war in the country because he was guaranteed by his military advisors the US would get a quick and easy 'win'. This would make him look like a "war President" and hopefully get some Rep's. to vote for him. THE ONLY REASONS the British and especially the French took the lead is because both those countries depend on the 'sweet' oil from Libya to fuel their military and passenger jets. The US doesn't import a gallon of oil directly from Libya. The other reason was/is that the French are fed up with the tens of thousands of Arab immigrants entering France. Actually every country in the EU is fed up with Arabs coming to their countries and bringing their particular brand of intolerance with them. Every Arab enclave in every country in Europe practices Sharia law within the community.

No I do not oppose US economic interests. I just oppose the nitwit in office for not focusing enough on his seeing where these economic interests are applied. And my remarks aren't snotty...just telling the truth as it is in front of me from different points of views. You libs only seem to take one side on seeing whats out there.

 

The only thing is they weren't as high. The people waiting during Obama term have just increased tremendously. And don't come back with that crap on its been going down. The only reason it has been going down slightly is because many have even given up on applying which isn't shown in the true figures.

Obama got NO guarantees from anyone... Only a fool would expect a guarantee.. If you want guarantees, buy a toaster at WalMart.

What is MORE glaring is the unwillingness of Congress to get off the fence on many issues including NATO's humanitarian obligations in Libya.
