Kurds have to give up a couple towns to Syria in order to get promise of relief from Turkish genocide. Rumors say that Putin won because supposedly Russia brokered this deal. Nice going sic! Trump is going what Putin wanted him to do.
How soon before a Russian general is appointed as Trump's secuirity chief?

Revelations - when the beast of the North ( Russia) descends upon the holy city .....is Revelation correct?

Russia wins, Assad wins, Kurds lose in long run , Trump throws US under bush.

    Someone mustbagree with me?

The best deals tend to leave all dealers feeling a little screwed.

This looks to me like a small but excellent step in the ME figuring its **** out without the US playing cop.

Syria has been in Russia's sphere of influence for around 60 years.

The Kurds lose in the long run? This was inevitable unless we stationed there permanently and armed the Kurds with heavy weapons ect. ect. They(Kurds) have admitted they will make painful concessions but at least their people will not be victim to the genocide that Turkish proxies will bring to them. The best course of action if we were going to do an about face would have been to negotiate with Russia and the Syrian government on behalf of the Kurds for a little leverage before we just walked away.

To further emphasize, this was inevitable as posted above, but we should have played a part politically on behalf of the Kurds. This was suggested more than a year ago as the writing has been on the wall.

Trump is the hero of the US getting out of the imperialism business. In the grand scheme, and especially in the bloody ME, loosing a couple towns and gaining peace is a big win. Im not prepared to say Trump is to credit for that result, only to credit for pulling us out like he said he would. But if this is an indication of what happens when we leave the third world to their own business, theres good things on the global horizon.

You mean leaving Russia's sphere of influence alone. The cold war is over. If Russia wants to play 'tame the barbarians', let them try. We've wasted too much of our resources in that farce.

It is a mindblowing thing. Syrian regular forces team up with the Kurds to repel the invading Turks who have gone way beyond putting a safe/buffer zone in place. You can bet Trump did not foresee that! As I have previously posted...if it wanted a safe/buffer zone....Turkey can put that within its own territory, not inside the Land of its sovereign neighbour.

Russia helped prevent the Kurds from being ethnically cleansed and this upsets you?

There is no ISIS caliphate. It is destroyed. And what little remains of ISIS in Syria will soon be eradicated by the Syrian and Russian governments. The US job in Syria is over. It's time to come home.

Trump isn't a hero yet. He hasn't actually withdrawn from Syria. And he hasn't ended a single war. He just keeps talking about it but never actually doing it.

This is mostly correct considering Syria. They are just as large and active in Afghanistan and other places they have a presence as they are in Syria and Iraq. They are a good side excuse for geopolitical policy tho eh 8). Funny how you hardly hear about the territory, attacks, and influence they have had in Afghanistan for years now.

Foreign adventures for profit are fundamentally evil. This is a small step in the right direction and as usual the secret neocons come out to back more perpetual war on the other side of the planet.

    Typical.

So those ISIS prisoners freed, and war in northern Syria returns, is good news to Trump supporters.

I wonder how much lower you are going to set the bar !!!

Trump's foreign policy is as bad as it can get. Every policy he implemented has made the USA standing in the world less.i repeat, a Manchurian candidate.
