    Portland continues to be the battleground between Republican racist groups and anarchist-prone Leftists. Today became violent but thankfully no one seriously hurt. I've never heard of "milkshakes" with quick drying cement. Similar standoffs have occurred leading to rioting but today was relatively calm.

    Any thoughts?

    Antifa needs to bring their act to a gun-friendly state. I give them credit though, the gay asian journalist they attacked, it was only about 10 on 1. Usually Antifa needs the odds to be at least 20-1 in order to attack

    its causes chemical burns shows you have never dealt with quick set concrete its has lye in it
    can blind you easily if it gets in your eyes
    lets pour some on your face if you think its harmless

    Yes its very unlikely to kill you. But so is battery acid, gasoline and getting you're teeth broken out. But it can cause serious injury.

    What is it exactly you're trying to defend here?

    Republican racist groups was the term used.... do you want to deny those exist in Oregon?? Best of luck....

    AntiFa is nothing outside Portland and Seattle. They won't venture from their havens where they have establishment protection because they are pathetic failures.

    Antifa beat a reporter to the point that he is now in the hospital with a brain hemorrhage. Apparently we have reached the point where the left is not only shutting down the right in social media, they are now physically assaulting reporters they do not like.

    My thoughts? We live in a clown world where the clowns have chainsaws.

    I agree 100%. The large majority in my state would have a field day with these morons. Hand to hand combat, assault rifles, high powered optics, long range rifles, hand guns, and archery just to name a few. We can dream cant we?

    I apologize for thinking a "milkshake" with quick drying cement is like super glue. "Milkshakes" as an expression of anger seem harmless. This is the first time I have heard of 'Andy Ngo' but understand he has had a relatively bumpy time of it in Portland including being removed as editor for the university newspaper several years ago. Antifa can be violent and no one should condone that kind of behavior but mostly it is fist fights like one sees in conflicts between university students and Trump supporters elsewhere.

    Do find it interesting he posts directly to his Facebook page lying on the ground after his attack, when the video of the attack never shows him on the ground..

    The conservatives were peacefully exercising their 1st Amendment rights. The left was exhibiting their penchant for violence and intolerance. The conservative Asian male reporter that a ntifa members brutalized was a racist too? A ntifa people simply can't stand for anyone to think for themselves, or for anyone to have the nerve to disagree with you.

    Doesn't have to be deadly just cause serious bodily harm. Curing cement can cause serious temperature and chemical burns.

That is in spite of the fact that the dam was built way back in 1935 and a huge network of 1 inch dia. pipes totalling to a length of almost a thousand kilometers was buried inside the concrete to circulate cold water in order to suck the enormous heat of hydration generated by the huge quantity of poured concrete.
