    Joe was detaining hundreds of US citizens and Permanent Residents, SIMPLY due to their ethnicity.

    how do you pardon such crimes?

    Funny. Arpaio was convicted of contempt, not following an order of the court to stop asking folks for their citizenship status. An order in support of the US president's refusal to enforce the federal law. Seems pretty straight forward unconstitutional misconduct by the former President. More over, the use of the federal court to persecute mr Arpaio seems to reasonable folks as a having been persecuted as a political enemy and not an actual criminal as he was well within the framework of federal law, state law, and local law.

    The court order is then an extension of the unconstitutional misconduct of the president.

    The 4th Amendment requires probable cause before an arrest. Apairo threw that out the window, if you appeared Mexican in his eyes. That was unconstitutional.

    What is amusing is that the messiah's fawning cult (that doesn't care if he shoots someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue) becomes moist over his wreaking havoc with the normal course of justice, but they are in a tizzy over so many prominent, conservative Republicans' open disgust at the blowhard's ignorance of the Justice Department's guidelines.

    Score one for the police state whilst crapping on "law and order."

    The fact of the matter is that reality tv performers are not issued pardons when convicted of having done so illegally.

    As previously noted, Arpaio is a celebrity for Trump zealots, and they love their media stars and do not believe they should be subjected to the same laws that ordinary Americans must obey.

    Even their rightist Rasmussen found that Voters Don't Favor Trump Pardon for Arpaio, and so many prominent Republicans forcefully voicing their disgust at Trump's pandering to his racist base is to be expected, but America cannot be the police state they crave without such exemptions from moral responsibility.

    Plus Arpaio { The Sheriff does have a Last Name } admitted that he's
    guilty of like 2 traffic tickets in his life.He's 85 years old. I doubt many past
    Presidents can make such a claim.
    He was held guilty for DOING HISW JOB.
    Something Past President Obama could not stand.Obama giving marching
    orders to Not Arrest and Detain Illegals.Imagine that.That would have been unheard
    of just 50 years ago.I don't think J.F.K. and his Brother Bobby { Attorney General}
    would have put up with that for 10 seconds in the 60's.

    Trump is fighting fascism by pardoning Arpaio. A Democrat judge didn't like Arpaio and decided to be judge, jury and executioner. Trump told the judge to **** off, we do not take political prisoners in America.

    Democrats are fascist pigs and the people are sick of it. The 2016 election is a testament to that. Don't be surprised if the DNC no longer exists 10 years from now.

    Trump crackpots are in a tizzy over so many conservative Republicans acknowledging that Trump's undermining law and order for partisan purposes is execrable.
