So what would happen if someone in this mall was offended by a BLM T-****? I have a pretty good idea it would be nothing.

there is no religious soliciting allowed in the store, if he was doing so, then he was in the wrong

I'm 100% atheist. Would I be allowed to wear a plain white t-shirt in Mall of America?

The week before that same man was issued a tresspass notice for soliciting customers. If one can't abide by the rules of a private property don't go in there

sure, but you can't solicit customers to become atheists

a better comparison is a shirt that says there is no God, and a group is constantly going to the mall to spread the message there is no God - as a plain white shirt is not anti God any more than it is Pro-God

people are there to shop, not be converted

he was also pushing that Christianity can't “coexist” with other religions

Good spot. A classic example of the importance of reading all the information rather than simply having a knee-jerk reaction to a video or headline.

In his mind it was "religious soliciting", but I doubt that is what the authors of the rule had in mind. So, he made a mistake. Hardly newsworthy.

Ok, so there was more to the story. What a surprise.

Obviously his shirt is pretty stupid, but asking him to take it off was even more stupid.

I have no problem with someone wearing a Jesus saves t-shirt. That one shows hate message for a few other religions therefore it makes it a anti religious and political message and not just a religious message. So he crossed the line. Yet the mall should not disapprove unless his message caused violence in the mall.

I am going there with a satanic shirt of Baphomet on it with inverted pentagram. I wonder if they say anything.

Sure, and private property owners have the right to set the rules which govern their property. Apparently this guy was not just wearing a t-shirt, he was a known pest at the property and had been kicked out before for violating their rules.

    Have a safe journey.

never said it was, soliciting customers is though, and if the group wearing this shirt is constantly coming in doing that, then the store has an obligation to get them to stop

sounds like this group has been harassing customers, not just on this day, so that the mall had to take action

If that pursuit involves them soliciting and harassing others on private property do you also support that?

".... The man asks what's wrong with the shirt, and the guard replies — with his voice still raised — that "it is religious soliciting; there is no soliciting allowed on mall property, which is private property!"

    Like I said.

Wearing a T shirt I not soliciting. Otherwise cops would arrest everyone with a weed/coke shirt for soliciting others for illegal drugs.

    Idiots really stretch logic.

With that dumb logic, every T shirt that has a statement on it can be counted as soliciting.

this was not a one day thing, this appears to have been happening repeatedly by those wearing the shirts

    the man's own words

    https://www.snopes.com/news/2023/01/18/mall-of-america-jesus-saves-shirt-video/

"At the 11:12 mark in the video, Shoro said that he had been given at least two 24-hour suspension notices by security officials after attempting to pass out "gospel tracts" to mall guests. He also said, "I go there every day," and mentioned that he had repeatedly tried to pass out the "gospel tracts":"
