    I'm sure they did. This is the Garland effect. People are sick and tired of being told they can't have what the majority of them thinks they earned. With a right wing SCOTUS, they will be set back.

    Did you expect them to take it sitting down?

    On the other hand, there must be a reason for McShitStain's offerings. Like I said, paper trail? The dude is a straight up shill.

    I know, isn't it terrible that rank and file partisan politics could stoop so low as to interfere with the process of govt. like when the GOP refused to let a president present a nomination to be considered much less allowed to face Congress...

    Because they know they will get a never ending stream of pro corporate rulings that will shatter unions and other voting blocs that empower anyone other than those they want to be able to vote.

    Those are bad comparisons and let me tell you why: If we are being honest, we would have to admit that each side has their fair share of nutjobs. I'm talking your foil-hat wearing crazies. You got 'em, and we got 'em.

    But here's the difference: You won't see the above advocated by mainstream republican politicians (or pundits). No Senator is out there saying Hillary has a child sex ring or that Sandy Hook never happened. In this case, you have actual Senators propagating a vicious lie about an innocent man.

    Unions are shattering themselves here and are not needed in today's world. There's a reason why they've stalled out, most see there are some that's getting RICH off unions and it's certainly not the members.

    Nonsense. When worker's rights are continuously assailed by the right, a union is more needed now then ever before. Moreover, in case you missed it, corporate america has invented HR departments to get out of allowing employees to "bargain."

    Yes. THat reason is the endless tirade and litany of protests from corporate shills in the right wing echochamber. It's not hard to see something lose ground when you have entire media empires constructed around this single issue.

    Refusing to confirm Garland, versus smearing Kavanaugh with unverifiable decades-old sketchy 11th hour accusations is not the same thing in my book. Or were similar accusations fabricated about Garland, and I'm simply unaware?

    C'mon partisans, you've at least got to admit this was a pretty dirty and low move by the Democrats. It doesn't matter if you like Kavanaugh or not, this stunt was slimy.

    Actually, shouldn't the FBI go after her for knowingly sitting on this information? Or is the Judge not being accused of a crime here and just that he made sexual contact with a woman who never reported it? If it's a crime, Feinstein (and her Chinese spy) need to be questioned at length.

    Kavanaugh is the quintessential corporate tool and this is what plays out when the Democratic party gave up the good fight, deserted their progressive roots and allowed the now hijacked Republican party to slowly but surely become a crime syndicate that now has both houses and The White House.
