Well now, a computer expert proved his 'data' was nonsense, and now a court ordered him to pay the guy $5 million big ones.

    Tsk tsk

    Why do they believe it?

Because Trump told them it was true.

And they believe anything Trump says.
You can't disprove a negative statement.

But you can falsify claimed evidence.

Lindell had digital metadata which he claimed 'proved' fraud.

I computer expert analyzed in and determined it didn't prove his claim, and a court agreed and now he must pay $5 million to the computer guy.

That's funny how a 'moron' can beat Trump by 7 million votes.

That's funny how a 'moron' can get the historic infrastructure bill passed in his first 100 days, that Trump, with both houses, paid lip service to and failed to do in four years

The left didn't elect the most corrupt president in history, Donald J Trump, the right did.

I also voted for Obama, Bill Clinton and others, democrat or republican, back to John F Kennedy- choosing whomever I thought would serve the nation and the people best in a given election.
Most of the time they are not who I would like to have, they are the best of people running for the office. I will take an effective, experienced manager over a entrenched politician. I will take character over personality and popularity. Competence over most anything else.

I'm not a republican or democrat. I am a conservative. When I look at a candidate, I'm not voting on his sexual fidelity, his baby kissing or butt-kissing or playing to the rubes or the media- I want a person to take charge and make the right things happen. I want that to be the right things for all Americans, not just one side.

Obviously, you use a different set of metrics. You voted for the disaster we are living in today, didn't you?

You don't really want to go there, or we start posting AOC, Schiff, Waters and all the insane squad on the left.
In congress, it's like a playground where undisciplined kids pick on other kids, who have little choice but to respond in kind, and very shortly the bad guys have turned things into such a riot that nobody can tell who are the bad guys. That's not an accident, it a cloaking strategy of incompetent and dishonorable politicians that can't cut it and do the job honestly.

People aren't crazy because you disagree with them.... and often when someone accuses those they oppose of being crazy- they are the ones who really are.

I voted for the adult on the ballot, not the 70+ year old cry baby.

Well- your poor judgement has come back to bite you in the ass, perhaps next time you will remember you it yourself and act more wisely.

Gee, professor....I can't seem to understand the syntax of your response. Nothing is biting me in the ass, unless that is what turns you on, in which case, no, you're not my type.

Of course you don't. A lot of people are destroying their own future and not smart enough to know it. Pointing it out get you insults, because they have no idea they might be mistaken about anything. It's a sad situation, but there's nothing you can do to help them.

    Whoever said life was fair?

Trump's lawyer and "fixer," Michael Cohen, was sent to prison for supporting Trump's lies and misappropriating Trump campaign funds to keep a porn star quiet about her affair with Trump.

The Trump Network, excuse me, Fox News was fined $787.5 million for trumpeting Trump's lies about the 2020 Presidential election and spreading lies about voting machines. Fox faces another threat for spreading Trump's lies -- a $2.7 billion defamation lawsuit filed by another voting technology company, Smartmatic.

Now we learn that Mike Lindell, the MyPillow founder and Trump ally who has been a leading voice in pushing conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election, must pay $5 million to a software forensics expert who debunked a series of false claims.

The Republican Party lost big time in the 2022 mid-term elections because Trump-endorsed candidates who were voicing Trump's many lies lost. The GOP was expecting a sweep in the Senate and House elections. The Democrats increased their majority in the Senate, and, because small, rural states outnumber large industrialized states, they gained a four-seat majority in the House. Less educated rural voters form the base of the Republican Party.

Trump has told his Big Lie to millions of Americans over a thousand times while leading an insurrection against our elected government when he was President.

Trump has not been indicted for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection attempt.

Trump has not been indicted for his theft of hundreds of pages of classified documents that caused a FBI search warrant of his Mar-a-Lago residence.

Trump has not been indicted for interfering in Georgia's state elections.

Trump has been indicted for using campaign funds to pay off his porn star mistress, but that is the weakest case against him. His lawyers will not even break a sweat ridding Trump of that arrest.

In terms of serious criminal charges, nothing has happened to Trump. He is the leader of the Republican Party and the leading Republican candidate for the Presidency in 2024. The rural base of the party is infatuated with him.

    Go figure!

If you had read the post, I said it clear. I vote for the best candidate I think will do the best for the country.
While I had a lot of respect for John McCain, I also felt his views were less flexible and would not have been as successful uniting people.
Voting for Obama was a mistake in looking back, but what I felt best at the time.

Unfortunately there are election where none of the candidate qualify as really right for the job. As the South Park episode said- a choice between the giant ****** and the turd sandwich....
And the ballots never have the option for "None of the above".

Crackhead Mike and his 5 mil will soon be parted but he may have to be sued multiple time in an actual court since he's hell bent on welching.

Best candidate as far as what? Does "best" include what is it they will do when in office? Are fiscally liberal policies better for the country than conservative ones? I can't imagine how ANY fiscal conservative could have voted for Obama and those reason completely played out especially during his first term and it was a disaster. Absolutely a case of the runs. And Biden is trying to emulate that as will any of the Democrats will. So no matter how bad the Rep might stink I don't see where there is a choice at all.

If the alternative is Trump, then there is no fiscally conservative option at all. Voting for Trump based on the idea that he's somehow fiscally conservative is like hiring John Wayne Gacy as a babysitter. Time to vote based on something else -- like maybe for someone who at least didn't try to overthrow democracy.

As I said- my vote for Obama was a bad choice. Both sides will run the person they think can get elected, almost regardless of competence and policy. It's a choice of evils. Knowing that, I think any person who votes party line instead of candidate is a jackass who will elect losers like Biden, and do vast damage to the country. We are always left to project what a candidate will do if elected. Some respond to the responsibility and do better, others use the power to chase personal agendas- and Obama did that; opened the door to much of the disaster we are dealing with today. What they don't do is tell us anything up front but what they think we want to hear; the rest of who they are is left to our speculation. I felt McCain was far more likely to get us into a war, and that should always be a major concern. War is terribly destructive to a nation, regardless of win or lose. One of the parameters I think matters. We have fought too many that we should never have been in at all.
