once again, if you read my posts you'll see that I am not pro-Israel and am highly, highly critical of the tribe's political and social agenda.

I claim that the "No Shows" need to be investigated. Much of that is because the Vet has transportation problems. You can't expect a disabled Vet to be there for his/her appointment without transportation. Again it's all in the management of the Hospital. Traveling 50 miles or more to a VA Hospital is a little ridiculous if not very difficult for a disabled Vet. In my case the nearest Outpatient service is more than 25 miles away. If I need hospital care I have to go either to Sayre PA, or Syracuse NY. Both are more than 60 miles away either way.

It's up to 94 now, even the lefty stations VERIFIED the numbers.
Only an idiot would think that 94 dead fighters will fight again, my point. You and your party of appeasement haven't done much to put an end to the violence, you might say that drones (Pinocchio's weapon of choice) are a motivating factor, (even escalating recruitment). There is only one way to stop the violence and that is to kill them, not giving them a job and an IRA.

One MOAB costs about $170,000, an Air Force representative said Friday. The Air Force has not confirmed the development costs associated with the larger weapons system.

Ok I agree I do not know how it's handled where you are but in the Central Conn hospital where I "work" we have the DAV, Legion, VFW, and providing transportation with donated vans with volunteer drivers. The Vet has the responsibility to schedule his own transportation. Tommorrow morning I will find out exactly what other entity provides transportation. I spent many years in the insurance industry using and initially designing the business specs for computer systems ...not a programmer. Ok the VA system can be designed so that there is an indicator on the Vets record that will ID him as needs transportation. When an appointment is made the processing program should send an electronic message to transportation. That should immediately set up the transportation request. Our addresses and names and VA claim numbers etc are all in the computer. I think that the VA actually runs the transportation office. That is kindergarten stuff. We did that kind of stuff even in the 1970's in claims processing.

You do put in for mileage right? If you hit th,e qualifier percent that is?

Transportation could be run better and should be funded better that I absolutely agree.

I need to send I that suggestion.
We may not agree on politics but on Vet services Inthinkbwe do.
    Take care bud !

The requirement to remove all US troops from Iraq by December 2011 was signed by Bush.

No he didn't. The nearest SAM batteries with the ability to take down cruise missiles were more than 100 miles away.

Then why did Obama take all the credit for getting the troops out?

You aren't getting it. The point is who gives a flying **** if they have a truce? We are and have been for over a decade been trying to kill both groups. That isn't going to magically change because they start bickering amongst themselves.

Wow, you don't even realise that you are reinforcing my point!

Let's see: you've been bombing them for over a decade (it's actually nearer 3 decades) and now there are more "terrorists" than before, but hey let's continue with the failed strategy.

You also cannot see that the Taliban and ISIS were killing more of each other than the US are managing to kill - way to go USA! The US desires constant turmoil in the Middle and Far East - that "failed strategy" is by design.

The US never learns....they used all sorts of fancy weapons in Viet Nam and got their asses kicked, and were running like a bunch of cowardly rats....will history repeat?

There were lots of problems with the US & some allies' efforts in VN - failures of technology were the least of it. We crushed the VC & Regulars whenever they stood & fought it out - but typically they had much better local intel, they knew the terrain & people & flora & fauna, they dug in & followed set assault plans to the letter. In meeting attacks, we crushed them. In their preplanned set-piece ops, they typically won tactical victories, even if we harried them all the way out as they dispersed.

Our troops did well - but it was the wrong war, the wrong doctrine - the last phase of a failed neo-colonial war, which FDR would have walked away from. That was one of his big arguments with W. Churchill - we (the US) would never fight merely to defend the British, nor French, nor Dutch, nor Belgian ... Empire.

Right, and credit was given to Obama for removing all troops, until ISIS formed. Then it was Bush's fault again. LOL. However, I'm sure Bush was under the intentions that we would have won the war by then. Instead we were too busy worrying about queers and trannies in the military, and pink ARMY hats.

The SOFA was replaced by the Strategic Framework Agreement (SFA). The SFA was designed to be the long term political solution signed by both President Bush and Al-Maliki.

He used it as an excuse to pull out the troops. But he chose to ignore the Strategic Framework Agreement (SFA) that was the long term political solution for Iraq.

Bush had intended for the Strategic Framework Agreement (SFA) to kick in after the fighting ended.

The Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) was designed to protect the US military during the military solution. Following the end of the military solution the Strategic Framework Agreement (SFA) was suppose to kick in. Obama chose to ignore the SFA and decided to pull all US personnel out in 2011 using the SOFA as his excuse.

I talked to the transportation people at the VA and found that the transportation office us run by he VA but as I thought the vans and drivers are donated and volunteers drives. Since I am not allowed to enter a Veterans record unless I am working on an appointment request I the manager to open one up for me. A VA doctor has to request approve a Vet as having transportation warranted for medical purposes. That sets an indicator on the Vets record thatvTransportatiin is warranted. Ok so asked her my does 't someone propose that the computer program be enhanced so that if a Vet has an appointment set that an automatic request goes to Transportation to set up transportation service. I this well uh they don't like to make changes, they are working on a new system blah blah blah excuse excuse....
Ok so I am putting tigether suggestions yes multiple one and I am sending them right to the Secretarynog the VA. I also Good the manager that we have another problem we can solve very easily. A Vet I called today to remind him of his appointment told he he was given another appointment by another VA department for the same day and time. Holy }#^++€>€£. Ok that is simple go solve all the All the VA needs to do is set up a simple stupid program routine that interrogates the Vet's record and compares the date and time of appoints and if one already exists for date and time the second One is not allowed. A 12 year old should be able to program that.
