Bottom line, the USA were invading another country illegally...and should not have been there and deserved to get their rear ends kicked out, and they did...same goes for Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, North Korea or wherever else the globalists tell the Puppet in Chief Presidents where to invade.

One B-52 with 16 Mark 84 bombs, is equal to 17,840 pounds of TNT, that's all you needed?!!
Did not need a MOAB bomb, just one or even two B-52's with 16 Mark 84 2000 pound bombs each would have suffice!

Asses kicked? Ran away like cowardly rats? Are you ****ing kidding me? Im guessing some is the typical bumhurt European. We didn't lose a single battle. We absolutely annihilated them in every field. We lost 50,000 to their 3.5 MILLION. That's a 60/1 ratio. We created a peace accord that a year after the war had ended the NVA violated and we chose not to get involved for a second time.

Jesus you guys and your pathetic revisionist history.

Like it or not, it was a war Lyndon Baines Johnson chose to fight and did all he could to micro-manage a war that should have been planned by those in uniform. From the fall of Dien Bien Phu in 1954 President Eisenhower increased the number of Military Assistance Advisory Group begun by Harry S. Truman in 1950 to support the French in their fight against the Viet Minh. It went from MAAG Indochina to MAAG Vietnam after May 1955. The original intent was to distribute military aide to the Vietnam Government and train their fledgling Army (ARVN). Diem was not agreeable with having MAAG V units train ARVN in tactics. To my knowledge from 1955 to 1960 when JFK was elected we lost approximately 75 American soldiers KIA and more than 150 WIA within that 5 year period of time.
(Many of the MAAG V personnel were on Temporary Duty status) It should also be understood that under HST and Eisenhower there were other groups in the Southeast Asian theater. Other established MAAG Groups until the LBJ take over, MAAG Vietnam,
MAAG Thailand, MAAG Laos, MAAG Cambodia and MAAG Republic of China.
JFK expanded the number of MAAG V personnel after his creation of "Green Berets" by 400 American Green Beret 'Special Advisors' to South Vietnam to train South Vietnamese soldiers in methods of 'counter-insurgency' in the fight against Viet Cong guerrillas and train to include the establishment of Civilian Irregular Defense Groups (CIDG) made up of fierce mountain men known as the Montagnards. Soon after the assassination of Diem converting MAAG V to MACV (Defined as Military Assistance Command Vietnam). JFK soon expanded the number of U.S. military advisors and to sent 8000 combat soldiers by October of 1961.
On Nov 2, 1962 Diem an Nhu are assassinated and 20 days later JKF was also assassinated. Most of us know the history from there.

I know that many on the left will pick at the above essay on Vietnam, MAAG V, MACV, Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson. I tried to be non political in the Op-ED. The truth remains that it was Kennedy and his successor Johnson that put America into the Vietnamese War.

This is the unbelievable thinking of war mongers - "We lost 50,000 to their 3.5 MILLION". And you call that a win! You tell that to the 50000 who did not return home and to the hundreds of thousands living with permanent injuries. And nothing was achieved

Presuming as I do that any human being within the explosion area would have been vaporised, I don't see how it could be proved if even one was killed never mind 94, so it sounds a bit like guesswork to me. Verified guesswork?

The seeds of what became ISIS were planted in the spring of 2003, and cemented later that summer when the morons on the Bush team decided to disband the Iraqi Army and sent them all home (with their guns). At a stroke the US dissolved the heart of the Iraqi government, soldiers and civil servants alike, and most of them Sunni.

The command structure of ISIS is made up almost entirely of ex soldiers in Sadaam's army.

Since the war in Viet Nam was not one were the pitched battles counted for very much, the fact that we won them all does not change the fact that we lost the war.

We installed and then spent two decades propping up an unpopular, brutal, and corrupt government.

    ROFL .....
Ehm ... is Sout Vietnam still existing as state / country? No!
So ... who won probably every single battle and most of the fights, but lost the war and his goal to keep an independent South Vietnam again?

Yeah ... I remember this photo very well! But there was a text on it written:

"If you don't come to democracy, Democracy will come to you"!

Anyway ... ask yourself why B-52 make such bombing today only if their is no serious threat of enemy Air Force and Air Defense from the ground!

Yeah ... but the sad true is that it is important that the undemocratic is an enemy ... because if being a friend we give a crap about democracy in this country. So at least your "we know what is the best for you" is really fitting!

The MOAB explodes above the ground and is used to clear surface structures. And in this case it was used to detonate IEDs. The bombs B52's drop explode on the surface and since the B52 is moving at a fairly high speed carpet bombing is the end result once all the payload is released. Even though the TNT is equivalent only the MOAB is concentrated from one point outward.

In some ways you're correct. Truman, Eisenhower and even Kennedy never intended to escalate our involvement in Vietnam. However, Lyndon Johnson sought to escalate the war for his own reasons.

Taking credit for what? SOFA protected combat troops during the military solution. The SFA was the post war long term political solution that did not involve combat troops. Are you familiar with the post World War 2 long term political solution known as the Marshal Plan?

Obama did not kill Bin Laden, but he took credit for it!!! And then gave the names of those who did on national television. Revealing to the enemy, who it was.

    Where was you on this?

When American globalists still cared about America, they made sure secular Arabs were in control across the middle east.

Now that globalists have dropped the "American" from their self identity, suddenly they are helping radical Muslims take back over the ME. As now a free America is the greatest threat to their pipe dream of one world.

How can any rational American, regardless of affiliation, not see that it is going to get continually more and more dangerous with traitors in control?

I don't think any of us thought Trump was going to be the great savior, but lets face it, at about a month in, he sold out. Still better than Hillary, but we needed a brick wall against the globalists. We traded a rubber stamp for a speed bump.

For those who actually care about things such as sovereignty and representation, what the hell are we going to do?
