There were MANY benefits to Israel.

These billions of dollars could have been spent to support the poor in Tennessee who are struggling to survive through the economic crisis. It is really bad that some working poor folks in America don’t even have 300 a week to spend on food even if they have food stamps and other forms of help.

As I told you the US military aid restricts Israel to buy US ware only, and if you take a pause to check your claims instead of parroting them again and again you'll find Israel buys MORE then it gets in aid - thus more money goes in the US then out regarding the Israeli aid. but if you feel so strong about it, why wont you go to the US and start to lobby the end of the Israeli aid, im afraid I cant help you here, my powers are limited.

 

As some of you might know I have been asked several times to go to the HELL HOLE of a region by a friend I OWE....because if I did not owe this friend I can tell you I would NEVER have gone and on one occasion had to be a F#$@&%# BABYSITTER for members on both side of this Palestinian/Israeli Issue.

There is more ways than actual attacks to "remove" a country. Money is the main controlling factor. If China stopped exporting to Israel then Israel would be near to collapse - however China needs the customer.

Memri's translations are viewed by both farsi and arabic speakers all over the internet. If and when there is some issue with the translation, it is nearly always highlighted and debated.

while in the old days when paper was the medium, translations could be made into anything. These days when videos are the preferred medium the ability to translate is spread amongst thousands if not millions of people.

This does not preclude a negative bias. As an example, there might be a word with multiple meanings - guy, thug, or hood. the speaker might have meant guy but the translations is thug. Those kinds of mis-translations are more difficult to identify.

 

Well in this case MEMRI got it so wrong you'd be forgiven for concluding that it was a deliberate move-especially as they were so dumb that they included an English idiom non-existent in Farsi. Fortunately many people noticed and corrected their 'mistake'. Naturally though for Israel and her supporters it was a propaganda godsend. Thank goodness for the internet!

First of all....any attack by any major country upon Israel would have absolutely NOTHING to do with Israel. This would be an attack designed to test U.S. Resolve.

The United States Military has the capability to deliver a KNOCK OUT PUNCH if the gloves are allowed to come off both Conventionally and Nuclear.

No other existing Major Power on Earth would be so stupid as to place themselves in a position to be hit this hard.

We wouldn't have to as no country in it's right mind would attack Israel.

At least not attack it in any major way.
