Mueller: Russia sought to help Trump win but did not collude with campaign

The extent of "Russian meddling" in the election was a few Facebook ads. Meanwhile it has been proven that illegal aliens actually voted in our election.

Why are democrats not concerned with that foreign influence in the election?

 

This started in 2014 before Trump was even considered a contender so Russia sought to help Bernie and Stein to begin with. Where is their SC?

 

"Although the investigation established that the Russian government perceived it would benefit form a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome, and that the Campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts, the investigation did not establish that members of the Trump Campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities," Mueller wrote in his report released Thursday.

It's not illegal to have someone give you dirt on your opponent.

In the end, the fact remains... no collusion, no obstruction, even though if you or I were Trump, we'd be more than happy to hear damaging news about our opponent.

Fabricated lie. The Mueller report specifically states that Trump and his campaign refused any and all help from Russia. Why didn't Obama try and do something? Obama knew Russia was interfering and he did nothing. Trump even complained about it but it turns out Obama was allowing Russia to interfere on his behalf.

Well, we do not know if the DNC was actually hacked. We only have their claim since they refused to turn over their servers. Then there is the Podesta email phishing incident. He wasn’t hacked, he was duped.

 

Not one vote was changed.....it seems election meddling has been a common thing in the past. Funny how it is only a problem when democrats lose.

If Republicans bring in a bunch of right wing illegal aliens to vote will illegal immigration suddenly become a problem?

Personally, the way I read it is, number one, Russia wanted to sow distrust in our electoral process and if as a bye product, Trump won, so much the better. They succeeded in the the first and I assume very happy about the second.

Russia is the big winner in all of this. No so much because Trump won but the the polarization and hyper partisanship it cause with the Democrats trying to destroy Trump. It keeps our government dysfunctional and give Russia a freer hand on the world stage. I'd say this was a big win for the Russians. Everyone of us has played right into their hands.

 

there will be a price in 2020, but I don't think Trump will be paying. The Democrats have made themselves look very foolish in the Kavanaugh hearings, on the border issues, and in this investigation. I know many Independent voters, myself included, that did not vote for Trump in 2016, but will likely do so in 2020 as it is a better option than any Democrat running. Though I might even vote for Howard Schultz if I think he has a chance of winning.
