If you are seriously feeling suicidal, I would recommend talking to someone about this and your problems and getting to the bottom of your issues rather than sleeping around with random people that you stalk online. This behavior seems to be incredibly unhealthy. You are avoiding your real issues and making excuses instead of dealing with them head on.

 

I should hope so, at his age...I was the same, but once the health goes, so does the bod...

A lot of men do go through a crisis when the masculine side wears out....

 

I haven't gotten caught up here but wanted to post a thought. I am now a highly experienced sugar daddy with 12 sugar babies in my past and something close to 120 first-meet coffee dates under my belt. I find that I am reaching a new level in all of this. I haven't been happy with the last couple of women I've met. They are nice enough but not a good fit for the long run. So I've been pushing and doing what I call Excel Dating - that's when you have so many discussions and coffee dates going that you have to use an Excel sheet to keep them all straight. In fact, I reached a point of saturation and lost it. I couldn't remember who was born where, or who has kids and who doesn't, and who is studying what in college, and working what job, and having problems with what again? AHHHHH! LOL. Usually I can review and keep them straight but I had too much going on at once.

The thing is, I believe I am learning how to find the woman I want. Like anything else in life, practice makes perfect, and I've been on about 200 dates over the last two years. It's like boot camp! But I'm getting a hell of an education. I've had some great times but haven't found that special one yet... However, more and more I am learning how to find her and what I want. Yesterday I engaged a 26 yo who seems extremely intelligent - she plays 5 instruments and speaks 3 languages - and is working on her masters. Most importantly, we had instant chemistry online. She is all over me and I must say that I am quite excited about her as well. You never know until you meet face to face but as always, I have high hopes. I know she's out there.

If number one was one-in-a-million, then it should only cost me $16 million in coffee to find another one like her.

 

PS, I saw number one for 3 years, almost exactly, and she walked out the door 2 years ago, exactly [well, two days ago]. This is my second anniversary of looking for my next number one. [I only use numbers to protect their identities and avoid an endless stream of fake names]. So I guess I am really looking for number 14. It was number one plus 12. Anyway, it has been a very busy two years!

I am as excited about my dinner date tomorrow as I have been anyone. I can tell by her frequency of texting that she is excited too.

When I ask her what she wants to do with her life, she gives me about ten answers! I love it! She has that special drive that makes for great things. I am quite enamored and we haven't even met yet. I am even breaking my cardinal rule and doing a dinner date on the first meet. She asked me out before I could ask her out.

 

Best first date I've had. And the first first time a dinner date, on the first date, has gone this well. We had a FANTASTIC time. I am thrilled, - elated! There is no doubt about it, she could be the one. I had high hopes for number 12 but she was too flaky. 13 had the same problem.This young lady is very responsible, showed up right on time, is highly intelligent, has a great sense of humor, is easy to talk with and full of things to talk about. I think we're going to have a blast. We only left when we saw the staff standing around waiting for us to leave. And of course, she's beautiful!

She started playing the piano formally, at age 3!

 

But can she play the flute?

 

Haha. She does not play that particular wind instrument.

 

There you go. Now you have something to teach her.

 

Same problems, still self-medicating with porn for 3 years now. Kids need their dad, so I keep my eyes open. It's hard to imagine finding the time for a 'side relationship' though - I don't know how you guys do it.

I'm sorry to hear that. I ended things with the ex before starting my new life. No kids either. Even then, I waited a very long time before ending things - too long. Just don't lose yourself. [I went ten years with no sex]

It scared the hell out of me because I couldn't tell! My next thought was, if she hadn't told me, how far would it have gone before I knew something was wrong?

 

I was talking with a woman today who is my age - happily married. She knew all about number one and asked about my dating life. So I told her I've been on about 200 dates since she left. This shocked her. She wanted to know how I meet these women, so I told her. She couldn't get past the numbers. What bothered her is that it would take so many dates. She started asking if I don't have friends who can introduce me to women? What?!?! How many women do you think I can meet through friends? But she just can't understand why it takes so many women to find someone special.

I on the other hand wouldn't be surprised if it took a thousand dates to find someone again, or ten thousand, if ever.

What's wrong with this picture? I should just find some nice woman who is a nice fit and go with it. To hell with passion and finding that special one who makes the earth move, right?

PS re my date last night. There was a moment when we looked into each other's eyes, time seemed to stop, and I felt magic. I think I saw it in her face as well. I think she felt it. She looked.... surprised.
