This recent leak proves Lloyd Austin and General Miley lied to Congress, which are felonies. You okay with sweeping those crimes under the rug? Those members of Congress that speak on your behalf and vote based on the exposed lies.

 

I've posted extensively on this forum that Milley is a traitor, so don't think I'm letting anyone off the hook! I'm fine with prosecuting Austin for lying to Congress, but he isn't the only one. Almost every general who's been in charge of the Afghanistan AO has lied to Congress, telling them that things were getting better every day, right up until the government collapsed.

So I'm not sure what I wrote that makes you think I want Austin and Milley's crimes swept "under the rug." Maybe you could enlighten me as to what triggered you on that.

The government violating our rights (which seems to be happening on a daily occurrence) has nothing to do with Snowden being a traitor. He stole a great deal of highly classified secrets, hightailed it to Red China, and when he couldn't make a deal there, went right to Moscow.

I realize people have differing views of Snowden, but that doesn't mitigate his treason.

I think the real issue is that Snowden is traitor, and went to both China and Russia to unload secrets. He's currently a Russian citizen and lives in Russia. He's really an American Philby. You may want to defend that, but there are multiple threads for that, and this isn't one of them.

Whether Teixeira just released snippets of info into group chats to impress his friends and these were then consolidated by someone else in the group before release or he did that himself is unknown. The point about the casualty figures is that the ones showing lower Russian and higher Ukrainian casulty rates is that those specific numbers first showed up on pro Russian/unreliable sites not Western ones. The figures released on other sites reverse the ratio. That makes it almost certain the Russians played with the numbers for propaganda purposes.
