    During the 2008 presidential campaign, Ms. Mitchell was covering a campaign event for then-candidate Obama. She referred to the residents in the small southern Virginia town as "real redneck, sort of, bordering on Appalachia country." She later apologized.

    "Too White" as in the percentage of white people in the state of Iowa is way above the national average.

    You seriously can't grasp the concept that a state with a 91% White population doesn't accurately represent a country with a 65% White population?
