Some people are gullible and some people use logic to see that the story is fake

Venezuela has been refining gas for the Iranians for 15 years.. Iran has very little refining capacity.

I wouldn't believe anything from Russia Today..

How about a video or is this fake too btw I believe this to be a far more acceptable reason for Iran to be in the gulf of Mexico than tit for tat... you're in the persian gulf therefore we're doing a drive by...

You could try to go to you tube and google CIA director iran and Hezbollah are in Venezuela

btw there are stories going back to 2010 regarding Chavez and Hezbollah, Hezbollah being in venezuella is old news, I'm saying Iran's sudden excursion to the gulf of Mexico is linked to Venezuela... you won't find any reports regarding this since this is my personal observation. I believe it's far more likely than simply a tit for tat because America is in the Persian Gulf

A suspected terrorist and drug trafficker just became Venezuela's Vice President

The relationship between Iran and Venezuela is old news, what's new is that Iran are now so comfortable in South America they are sending warships into America's backyard. Who knows what sort of clandestine operations they will be carrying out from there...Venezuela went into hyperinflation since 2016 and the only government in the world that ever survived hyperinflation is Robert Mugabe's... seeing the Vice president of Venezuela are already linked to Hezbollah I'd be very surprised if this "excursion" is not linked to Venezuela. After all it's typical Hezbollah modus operandi, infiltrate, destabilise, seize control... it glaringly obvious imo

All very well, but Venezuala is not in the Gulf of Mexico - nearly 2000 miles away. That is what I have stating as fake news - No Iranian ships are going into the Gulf of Mexico

"the CNN report echoed revelations from 2013 that the Venezuelan embassy in Syria was issuing passports to terrorists under the direction of Ghazi Atef Nassereddine, a Treasury-sanctioned, FBI-wanted Venezuelan diplomat who happens to be a key Hezbollah operative."

    Not visas? Passports.
    Oops.....

Thank you for the propaganda from Wikipedia. The US is notorious for its military aggression (that is illegal BTW). That you happily rationalize it speaks volumes.

True.. in real time. Don't you remember Eluethera? I remember it very clearly and Russia was not yet pushing crackpot conspiracies.

The United States first supplied the rebels of the Free Syrian Army with non-lethal aid (including food rations and pickup trucks), but quickly began providing training, cash, and intelligence to selected Syrian rebel commanders.

During the Syrian Civil War, which began in 2011, two US programs attempted to assist the Syrian rebels. One was a military program that planned to train and equip 15,000 Syrian rebels, but was canceled in 2015 after spending $500 million and producing only a few dozen fighters

No problem about Wiki and what references it has. Most leftists don't know all those colored words are links. Yet they still claim they have intelligence.

Oh were you trying to preach about morals, standards, and principles. While still being human.

Let me know when you figure that **** out. Then get back to me.....as the lame tactic of looking for moral equivalency don't mean much when it comes to fleshy bags of water.

Posters who support the US actions in military aggression live in a moral vacuum. That is, they are unaware of the differences between right actions and wrong actions.

Comfortably numb in the moral world is what they prefer.

Prove the story is fake rather than just mouthing off. Or are you saying the Iranian Source is nothing but fake news at all times.

Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi, held his first press conference Wednesday, announcing that a fleet of Iranian ships would soon depart for the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico en route to visits to a number of South American countries, Iran's semi-official Tasnim News Agency reported. The move is reportedly part of a push to project Iran's military on a more global scale and establish international ties as President Donald Trump and his allies, including Israel and Saudi Arabia, seek to isolate the revolutionary Shiite Muslim power.

"Sailing in open waters between Europe and Americas should be the navy’s goal, which will be realized in the near future," Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, who served as navy chief for 10 years before being assigned by supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to deputy coordinator of the army, said earlier this month at his successor's ceremony, according to the Tasnim News Agency and translated by Caspian News.

Iran's latest move toward the Western hemisphere isn't its first. In addition to receiving ongoing political support from friendly Latin American nations, some of which were alleged to host elements of the Iran-backed Lebanese Shiite Muslim movement Hezbollah, Iran said in 2014 it would send warships into the Gulf of Mexico to protest the U.S. Navy presence in the Persian Gulf, according to USA Today......snip~ Same link.

Cmon now.....you know the Iranian supporter would come with the crap about fake news. Especially after that bullshit about Oman that he threw out there.

Do you think he is looking to play off the translation?

Where is the Iranian Monitor been. I think he could tell us if the translation is correct or not.

If I may offer some old wisdom from Mark Twain, he noted that patriotism means supporting your country all of the time, but its government only when it deserves it. Take heed, because a country is one thing, and its government is a separate thing. They are not the same.

If I may offer some wisdom from Hartley Shawcross, who was a prosecutor at Nuremberg back when the US actually WAS a force for good in the world: "There comes a point when a man must refuse to answer to his leader if he is also to answer to his own conscience."

    Take heed.

    Sun Tzu.....know thy enemy well.

Which doesn't mean when talking about ones enemy. That they begin talking about ones self and what they did was wrong. Take heed on that leftist.

Some humans see an enemy around every corner, others see a fellow human being. I'm registered GOP dude. Rein in your animosity.

Not fake, but it's still up in the air whether or not Iran actually sends any boats to the GoM. Even if they did, it's all for show. Nothing to fear.

What the left never seems to comprehend is that you can stand firm and even push back without provoking full on war. In fact that's more often than not a deterrent to war as opposed to appeasement and backing down which emboldens a potential enemy.

Yet the vast majority of your posts are anti-American and, more tacitly than not, pro-Russian, pro-Chinese and, now, pro-Iranian. Why?

Lots of anti American propaganda from Russia and Iran. But, why would Americans want to paint the US in the worst possible light and lie to do it?
