I am not quite sure you understand what censorship is. I agree to a point that it goes too far, but not one person has had their right to free speech or their right to their own forum taken from them. So i reject this overly general, oversimplified use of the word "censorship". And also, your whataboutism is an effort to change the subject, not to discuss it.

 

But there’s always censorship gatekeepers known as so called fact checkers like Media Bias Fact Check and other such scum of the earth to rate the newer sites as ropaganda or questionable in the hopes of scaring people off of such diverse places. They don’t get it that such labeling is a badge of honor that makes them all the more attractive to the rest of us.

 

Thank goodness.for the fact checkers. While some weirdos are too far gone, they were not always that way. And the fact checkers catch people early on their journey to Crazytown and help them to view the white wing garbage with skepticism.

Fact checkers, like the one you mentioned, source their claims and explain their reasoning. They provide a starting point for researching unknown sources. If you consider it a badge of honor to consume conspiracy theories, that is your right. I think it's a rather bizarre outlook on life, but it's a free country.

 

They openly admit that their ratings are for entertainment purposes and that they aren’t legally responsible for how people use their ridiculous ratings. They also admit to using no scientific method for their rankings. Lastly they don’t just rate unknown sites. They put ridiculous ratings on well established and well known mainstream evangelical Christian and conservative site sources. MBFC has no redeeming value.

Liberals are walking a slippery slope with censorship, and disguising their biases as "fact checking", because one day the shoe could be on the other foot, and they will only have themselves to blame for starting us down this path in the first place.

Kellyanne famously suggested there is an "alternative" truth (for Trumpleton's) to the one being reported in the MSM. There isn't. There is nuance, there are truths that are expressed incompletely, but in the end there is only one truth. Biden won the election. Since there is no credible evidence to the contrary that is the one truth. When Trump questions the election results, and is flagged for it, it isn't "a bunch of mumbo jumbo, hemming and hawing, and "maybe" and "sort of" and "not really" and "but if" and "well," it is pointing out a lie. Not because of the ideological bent of the fact checker. Because sometimes a lie is just a lie. Objective truth, ballots having been counted, tells us so.

Any time you want to see who has the objective truth on their side the vast preponderance of the time, I'm right here.

 

Hopefully Freedom will prevail.

Hopefully The Enemy will not be able to censor all of Internet and TV.

Likewise you are illustrating an "existential problem of our time", which is the refusal to accept that your version of "truth" isnt necessarily true just because you want it to be true, even if your leftwing sources swear it is so.

Just because a media outlet tells you what you want to hear, and confirms your biases, does not mean it is necessarily reporting the truth. Likewise, just because a news outlet reports things you do not want to hear, or which challenge your preconceived notions, does not mean it is necessarily reporting lies. That's the problem with hyper partisans today, and the partisan media, people can (and will) find media sources which will only tell them what they want to hear, but it doesn't mean it's right, and it doesn't mean the other side is lying.
