    Newsmax is horribly misleading and presents their content in such a way as to have its audience read nothing but the headline, whenever possible, and to intentionally omit context and easily found facts. Apparently they don't have a very high opinion of the intellectual capability or diligence of their target audience.

    Newsmax is widely understood to routinely publish factually inaccurate material, bordering on if not including outright propaganda.

    The routine here on the board that gets repeated a lot is as follows. A Trumpleton regurgitates a lie from right wing media. A progressive fact checks the lie with a source Trumpleton's assert is liberal, but do not provide any information to try to substantiate the original claim. The Trumpleton continues to believe the lie, refusing to acknowledge the source of refutation as credible. Rinse and repeat.

    Most people do not like when they are told what news they can or can not watch.

    Since Ancient Persian times it has been noted that whenever a caravan passed by a town, Progressives staged a protest.

    I view NewsMax as a caravan protested by Progressives.

    You're still operating under the delusion that Newsmax's purpose is to report the news. It isn't. It's purpose is to position itself not just to the right of Faux but to be more sensationalized in reporting what is essentially propaganda, so it can draw an audience in a very competitive space.
