Lying to people on a daily basis is exactly what FOX News does, every minute of every day, and the long term effects of daily exposure are stupefying. They are an indispensable tool of the GOP. They've been so effective in moving the national dialog to the right that most people can't even remember where the middle used to be.

I am not against certain limited government funding for certain health costs, and some level of assistance for low income people, but the "Affordable Care Act" is just terrible. The Democrats and Republicans should get together a devise a more limited plan that makes more sense.

I guess you missed it when a liberal organization recently admitted to doing some in depth analysis and numbers crunching and discovered to their shock and horror that Fox News really is Fair and Balanced in its coverage of all sides of an issue in comparison to the Left's much adored MSNBC; which they implied really was nothing more than an echo chamber for the Democratic Party leadership. Oh my!

Obama and the Dimocrats old tricks no longer flush. It's SOP for the Democrat
Party to play the Blame game. It's SOP for the Democrat Party to never Fix squat,
only make matters worse for the Average Decent,Patriotic American.
Now WWII vets are the target of Dimocrats wrath.Imagine a dwindling and almost
completely died-off generation { The Greatest generation } being Bullied while in
wheelchairs, using walkers and some near 100 years old. While Obama is out causing
trouble and seemingly " tickled pink ". It's what the guy does.Doesn't Obama seem rather
TOO Happy about all this " shutdown " business.
I know Talk Radio toughie Mark Levin has Warned Obama and his drat dimocrats :
" You lay one d@mn hand on a WWII vet,I'll bring half
a million people to DC. "

While Obama is out saying his way " I use calm rhetoric unlike hostage takers ".
yes, this chicken little President is doing what he does best.Lying and laying blame
other than at his own feet.Insisting it's the GOP who are causing " panic ".
I guess that explains every snarky name being hurled at the GOP even by
Obama using the phrase " putting a gun to the head ".
The masses know who's most at fault here. It's the ones who control 2/3 rds of our
    Government.The Executive,and the Senate.
Even Pat Buchanan is slightly peeved at this Dimocrat approach and going after
The Greatest generation in their swan song years { WWII vets at memorial }.
Buchanan : " Obama shutdown maneuvers " genuinely sadistic ".

IJR looks like a right wing rip off of Politico, down to the format.

The content is clearly right wing, and the "reporting" is threadbare.

The story in the link you cited has very little real content, other than a couple of out of context quotes from two other stories, which are neither properly referenced or linked.

Moreover, the story does not say what you claim it does.

You made the claim that there is a study that says the Fox Noise really is "fair and balanced". The story you linked does not say that, In fact it says the opposite.

The only "revalation" in the story is that MSNBC is just as bad, or worse. I will readily concede that point. I rarely bother with it much anymore for precisely that reason.

Gee how cute.Just flip things around and make the Repubbies into the bad guys.
This is SOP Dimocrat approach.Make the case by accusing the Republicans first of what
THEY'RE Guilty of.It's why Debbie Wasserman-Schultz was hired on as DNC chair.
Because she's a blatant Liar and turns every problem into something that Republicans
    caused,when in fact,it was entirely a Democrat-caused problem.
    It's a Scam.Accuse Republicans by name-calling and Lies { Faux FactCheck.org }
and act as if Obama and Reid and Pelosi are only looking out for the little guy.
I guess that expolains why ObamaCare has like 17 taxes that Hurt the Poor.
It also explains why the Poor have never been poorer since the Great Depression.
Certainly no fault of any Republican.Harry Reid *refuses to even submit a budget.
When the New Newt Gingrich Congress took over in 1994,there was a shutdown
in 1995. The only time in our Country's history has there been :
    4 Consecutive Balanced Budgets
and it was under a Republican Majority in both the House & Senate.

    * Senate leader Reid has NOT submitted a budget let alone passed one since Obama
    took office.Right there is Malfeseance.

Does this sound like to much though? Is this why Republicans are against it? Could it break the government?

I thought I established with you that no one lies like MSNBC. How much proof must one put up before you get through to some people?

I think I took it wrong as the poverty level for a single should only be about $10,200. But it seems like you could earn up to that $45,900 and still get government help, or am I still thinking wrong?

It what lefties do.They constantly use the word " Lie ". Especially little commies
    like MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell.He can't go 5 minutes w/o accusing some Republican
of Lying. On average O'Donnell uses the word " Lie " about 20 times per show.
Fox does not play that snarky game. They are Gentlemen Patriots at Fox.
However last night Sean Hannity blew his stack at a New Jersey Congressman who
was on to debate the shutdown and how wonderful the Affordable Care act.
Hannity kept asking him what's wrong with the American people wanting the same
benefit that Congress granted itself with a 72% subsidy for Their Healthcare.
That New Jersey Congressman kept telling Sean he was Lying. That there is no 72%
subsidy for Congress members. That Sean is making that up.Sean finally barked back
" Stop Lying ". Admit you get a 72% subsidy for YOUR healthcare and why the average
American should get what you get.Sean kept it up.Kept telling the snarky Democrat
Congressman to " Stop Lying ".
here's the thingy.before the debate even started that New Jersey Congressman
greeted Sean with a very odd greeting. After Sean introduced him he said " Hay
Sean, how's your Family ". I thought that was very odd.Like something a Mafiaso would
say to intimidate someone.I think that might be the reason Hannity kept using the word " Lie ".
" Stop Lying ... stop your lying ". Sean has never done that before.

It would seem like Hannity was right.

    Obama Grants Congress Obamacare Reprieve

The Obama administration has granted members of Congress and their staffers an exemption from a provision of Obamacare that could have cost them thousands of dollars a year in added health insurance costs,

Congress currently allots itself generous health coverage through the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program. Nearly 75 percent of premiums are taken care of. But under Obamacare, our representatives and their worker bees will be thrown onto the health care exchanges like millions of Americans – without the FEHB subsidy. Fair is fair, right?

Well, just two days after Obama assured Democratic lawmakers he was on the case – though make no mistake, many Republicans want action too – the administration has ruled that while Congress must hit the exchanges, the subsidy for their insurance will continue.

It’s good to be the king. And it’s good to be the nobility too. LINK

    http://theulstermanreport.com/2013/08/02/outrage-obama-grants-congress-obamacare-reprieve/

America has a two-party system. But it’s not Republicans versus Democrats
. It’s the ruling class — Republicans and Democrats — against everyone else. Consider how President Obama just gave Congress its very own Obamacare waiver.

Obamacare includes a provision that should cost each member of Congress and each staffer $5,000 to $11,000 per year. Needless to say, the ruling class was not pleased.

Congress wasn’t about to try to exempt itself from this provision explicitly, though. If John Q. Congressman voted to give himself an Obamacare waiver that his constituents don’t get, he wouldn’t be John Q. Congressman much longer. What’s an aristocrat to do?

Oh yeah, Fox News political pundits deserve consideration. Get off your cross and grow a backbone. Fox News as well as any another right wing outlet had been casting aspersions and conjuring conspiracies the moment Pres Obama took office.

So where do you go to get the pablum that the hot woman on Fox Noise fed you in the morning.

I don't watch any of these morning "news" shows, because there is little or no substantive news on them.

I don't understand why the Pres must attack everyone who disagrees with him? Why must he so condescendingly snicker about those who are of different opinion?
He is the leader, or is supposed to be. He should set an example by leading a respectful conversation. His finger pointing is getting more annoying as the weeks go by, and sadly, he seems to be setting an very bad example. If he is the one who represent America, I must wonder what America has become.
But I won't stop with him, although, as said before, POTUS should set an example. Why must others follow suit? Politicians, news anchors, pundits from all sides, anyone offering an opinion. Take a break, look at what you have become, look at what you are doing. You are manipulating, conniving, dealing, misleading, fear mongering...and for what? Ratings, votes, points, applause?
Why not find some common ground, why not work together, why not look at facts, deal with facts, report the facts?
So, POTUS, Con, Dem,FNC, CNN, MsNBC... , lets move forward, lets find a solution, lets solve our problems instead of creation more.

Well it seems they have discovered MSNBC puts out so little news and is mostly commentary, I make sure I don't try and get my news from them. It would seem what little news they do feed you, they edit it to fit what they want you to know.

Could you elaborate on this. That statement seems a bit childish. Political attacks are ubiquitous everywhere. The right was polarized and parochialized its platform with no room for adjustment, yet I all I hear is I am ruining this country because I am a Democrat.

This shutdown is entirely due to Republican leadership, period. Sorry if your ilk doesn't like certain laws, neither do I, but to shut the govt down because it, is less the childish, it is a tantrum to worst degree.

    - - - Updated - - -

Yeah I lie all the time. It is childish statements like this that get you nowhere.

Robert, I don't think Fox is listening to you and I sure didn't mean to include you or most other regular citizens. That remark has to do with MSNBC News, a few others and the representatives on the Left that have a hard time telling the American people the truth. We know that Fox is the only station that is keeping track of what this administration is really doing.
