And in that regard it would be Richard Nixon being called upon, followed by Gerald 'the great pardon' Ford, followed by Grover Cleveland and US Grant.

There is a long list before you get top Clinton, who did indeed seduce a young woman in the Oral Office and lie about it......under oath.

But in the scheme of things compared to ordering people killed [considered by Nixon and alleged to have been done by Grant], lying under oath is nothing...at least not for a sitting US president.

 

Yeah, you like the way he treats women and subordinate workers? Like the way he committed perjury and obstruction of justice in a federal court and federal grand jury to try and hide his treatment of those women and how he used his elected power to violate the trust of the people?

BTW he once told my grandmother there were two men whom he ever feared in his life, his step father and my grandfather. I lived in LA and travel AR extensively during his terms in office there so I know the man quite well.

 

And in the execution of the office he was elected to and the public trust.

And whom did Nixon sexually molest and sexually harass and use his power to gain sexual favor with? When did he lie under oath to hide his sleazebag behavior with subordinate government workers? When did he make a fool of his wife, if we are to believe she was totally oblivious about his sexual behaviors which she wasn't, on national TV as he lied about those behaviors?

When it is between a President and a subordinate federal employee on government time it is. When it becomes part of a federal lawsuit it is. When it has to do with a President lying under oath in a federal court and a federal grand jury it is. And of course she was only one of many with a good deal of them NOT being consensual at all, they were sexual molestations.

When the legal involves the moral they go hand in hand. For instance Clinton put Lewinski in jeopardy and a term in a federal prison in order to try and save his own political arse. And he plotted with Blumenthal that if she did not go along with then he would publicly smear her and make her out to be a stalker and a crazy woman. Indeed, Watergate and his supposition that he could basically override the constitution. While Obama/Bush may have given lipspeak to the idea of authoritarianism, Nixon was the one who came the closest to it and had we not been diligent, perhaps he would've established himself as such.

If one's definition of "sex" is intercourse, then I believe Bill. I don't think that they had intercourse. In other words, the creative use of the cigar was all that was needed.

I don't think that the Oval Office should be used for sex of any kind. It's not just any office. But, it's not the end of the world and truly not a big deal. Obviously, he shouldn't have cheated on his wife. I think that's the most important issue there, and that's a private issue between him and his wife.

Again, using words like "subordinate", "molest" is desperate reaching. The only harm done to Clinton was being disbarred, which didn't affect him at all. Now, as one of the world's leading humanitarians, he's very well-respected.

I'm not one to high-five somebody for having sex, but I don't think that he did anything wrong other than cheat on his wife.
