    The first time it was all he had to do was sign a release instead he did the country a disservice by allowing it to become an issue. A President should NEVER let his qualifications and legitimacy be in ANY doubt whatsoever. And that's what was so strange to me. Why did he let it go on.

    Obama was born a dual citizen, with dual allegiance and remained, by his own admission, a dual citizen with dual allegiances well into his manhood.

    His multiple birth certificates are still suspect whats with all the layers and appearing/disappearing seals, there's no paper trail to see how he got into skruls and who paid for them, and his social security number did not even cleared e-verify without being flagged.

    And the shyster was never properly vetted, was he? Where did you Democrats found such a gift to the United States? As if one Obama was not enough, the country is now full of his illegal uncles and aunts...:fart:

    I say, people of the states of Georgia and Alabama have the right to question Obama's Natural Born Status :mrgreen:

    That defines what a statutory citizen is, not a Article 2 Section 1 natural born citizen. Persons, who at their birth, require a naturalization statute or code are not natural born. Some persons who are not “natural-born citizens” are “born citizens” due to having received their citizenship by virtue of a statute .

    Because he had to get the fake LFBC all in place and anyone who looked at that thing can tell it's faked.

    There are ONLY two types of citizenship.. Natural born and Naturalized.

    Try Cornell Law.

    A phrase denoting one of the requirements for becoming President or Vice-President of the United States. Anyone born after the adoption of the U.S. Constitution in 1787 must be a "natural born Citizen" of the United States to constitutionally fill the office of President or Vice-President. See U.S. Const. art. II, § 1; id. at amend. XII.

    Some debate exists as to the meaning of this phrase. Consensus exists that anyone born on U.S. soil is a "natural born Citizen." One may also be a "natural born Citizen" if, despite a birth on foreign soil, U.S. citizenship immediately passes from the person's parents.

    8 > CHAPTER 12 > SUBCHAPTER III > Part I > § 1401

    § 1401. Nationals and citizens of United States at birth

    The following shall be nationals and citizens of the United States at birth:

    (a) a person born in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof;

    (b) a person born in the United States to a member of an Indian, Eskimo, Aleutian, or other aboriginal tribe: Provided, That the granting of citizenship under this subsection shall not in any manner impair or otherwise affect the right of such person to tribal or other property;

    (c) a person born outside of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents both of whom are citizens of the United States and one of whom has had a residence in the United States or one of its outlying possessions, prior to the birth of such person;

    (d) a person born outside of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is a citizen of the United States who has been physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for a continuous period of one year prior to the birth of such person, and the other of whom is a national, but not a citizen of the United States;

    (e) a person born in an outlying possession of the United States of parents one of whom is a citizen of the United States who has been physically present in the United States or one of its outlying possessions for a continuous period of one year at any time prior to the birth of such person;

    (f) a person of unknown parentage found in the United States while under the age of five years, until shown, prior to his attaining the age of twenty-one years, not to have been born in the United States;

    (g) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than five years, at least two of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years: Provided, That any periods of honorable service in the Armed Forces of the United States, or periods of employment with the United States Government or with an international organization as that term is defined in section 288 of title 22 by such citizen parent, or any periods during which such citizen parent is physically present abroad as the dependent unmarried son or daughter and a member of the household of a person
    (A) honorably serving with the Armed Forces of the United States, or

    (B) employed by the United States Government or an international organization as defined in section 288 of title 22, may be included in order to satisfy the physical-presence requirement of this paragraph. This proviso shall be applicable to persons born on or after December 24, 1952, to the same extent as if it had become effective in its present form on that date; and

    (h) a person born before noon (Eastern Standard Time) May 24, 1934, outside the limits and jurisdiction of the United States of an alien father and a mother who is a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, had resided in the United States.

    Half Black... nations first half Black president.

    This is an odd phenomenon I'm still trying to understand. Why do we call Obama Black, why does he seem to identify with his African heritage more so than his European roots?

    Cornell Law Institute's corruption was exposed not long ago. Again, persons, who at their birth, require a naturalization statute or code are not natural born. Some persons who are not “natural-born citizens” are “born citizens” due to having received their citizenship by virtue of a statute like the code you present . This is a very important point we take from Minor v. Happersett, that some “born citizens” are not “natural born”.

    Yes, I'm sure racism has nothing to do with it. Things like questions about Obama's mixed heritage ("halfrican"?) and the fact that this legal challenge occurs in the south are all just coincidences.

    Yup. I'm sure.

    And I don't bother responding to complaints about what he is doing or has done as President- those are concerns about his performance as President.

    What Birthers want to do is lie that he isn't even the President- and that is due in large part- for many but not all of the Birthers because of his skin color.

    But I welcome this court case too. The law is clear, even if Birthers don't comprehend it. They have the right to file the challenge- heck I could file a challenge claiming Mitt wasn't eligible because he is a Mormon- but the right to file an idiotic challenge doesn't mean that any sane judge will rule in their favor.

    We could make up all sorts of 'circumstances' about Presidential candidates. Romney is a Mormon, Newt is a serial adulterer, Michelle Bachmann is a compulsive liar- and all of those have as much to do with Presidential eligiblity as Barack's father and where they spent their early life living.

    A President to be eligible must be 35 years of age or older, had 14 years occupancy and be a Natural born citizen. There is no serious question that Barack Obama meets those qualifications just as do Mitt and Newt and Michelle.

    Oh and I forgot- those 'circumstances were well known in 2008- and the voters, the Electoral College, Congress and Chief Justice Roberts ignored them because everyone else knew that those 'circumstances' were immaterial.

    But apparently you expect that a state court judge in Alabama is going to have reach a different conclusion than Chief Justice Roberts.

    And of course he has produced a copy of his original birth certificate, which has been verified- twice now- by the State of Hawaii.

    So let us review: Name the only Presidential candidate ever to show the American public his birth certificate:
    Barack Obama
    Name the only President candidate who has ever had the State of his birth officially confirm he was born there:
    Barack Obama
    Name the only Presidential candidate Birthers claim is not eligible:
    Barack Obama

    Face it- for every Republican candidate, Birthers just assume that they were born in the U.S. without a hint of evidence. For Barack Obama, they demand that every citizen in the United States be marched through Hawaii's vault to see the birth certificate in person.

    Hypocrites- thy name is Birther.

    Chester Arthur- Ireland/Ireland
    Ronald Reagan- Ireland/don't know- no one cared.
    Eisenhower- Germany
    Thomas Jefferson- France (he was an honorary citizen)

    And if you go with Vice Presidents-
    Spiro Agnew- Greece/Greece

    Those are just off the top of my head. There are probably more.

    But of course those were all European countries....

    Actually obviously yes. The court in Georgia and Alabama are required by law to accept the case- it doesn't mean there is any question. If I lived in Georgia I could file the same kind of suit claiming that Michelle Bachmann isn't eligible to be on the ballot because she is a witch and witches aren't eligible.

    Read Ankeny v Daniels- the Appeals Court of Indiana makes it very clear that Obama was and is eligible.

    Actually he did.

    That is why he had a perfectly legal, perfectly valid, completely standard, certified Hawaiian Birth certificate ordered from the State of Hawaii and kept on hand just for such question.

    And when the issue came up, he provided it to multiple outlets, and posted a copy on his own website.

    Birthers then lied about it not being a real birth certificate.

    Not sure how Obama could have anticipated amount of deceit Birthers were willing to sink to.

    Of course when Trump pushed the issue, he finally had enough, asked Hawaii to make an exception as provided by State law, and provide another perfectly legal and valid Hawaiian birth certificate, which Hawaii also confirmed was a perfectly legal and valid BC, just like the first one.

    And Birthers still lie about it.

    Now exactly how could any President anticipate that amount of deceipt by his political opponents?

    Hawaii is special.

    One of the few States to have been the birth of an American President.
    The only State that has officially confirmed that not only that President was born there, but that he is a natural born citizen.
