Yep he showed it the last campaign and still practices it it seems.

"Female employees in the Obama White House make considerably less than their male colleagues, records show.

According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).

Calculating the median salary for each gender required some assumptions to be made based on the employee names. When unclear, every effort was taken to determine the appropriate gender.

The Obama campaign on Wednesday lashed out at presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney for his failure to immediately endorse the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act, a controversial law enacted in 2009 that made it easier to file discrimination lawsuits.

President Obama has frequently criticized the gender pay gap, such as the one that exists in White House.

“Paycheck discrimination hurts families who lose out on badly needed income,” he said in a July 2010 statement. “And with so many families depending on women’s wages, it hurts the American economy as a whole.”

It is not known whether any female employees at the White House have filed lawsuits under the Ledbetter Act.

The president and his Democratic allies have accused Republicans of waging a “war on women,” and have touted themselves as champions of female equality. Obama’s rhetoric, however, has not always been supported by his actions.

White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters last week that Obama believes it is “long past the time” for women to be admitted to the traditionally all-male Augusta National Golf Club, site of the Masters golf tournament.

But the president has demonstrated a strong preference for all-male foursomes in his frequent golf outings, a bias that extends well beyond the putting green and into the Oval Office.

“Women are Obama’s base, and they don’t seem to have enough people who look like the base inside of their own inner circle,” former Clinton press secretary Dee Dee Myers told the New York Times.

In a 2011 article titled “The White House Boys’ Club: President Obama Has a Woman Problem,” TIME magazine’s Amy Sullivan detailed the president’s fondness for male-dominated environments.

“There’s a looseness to Obama when he’s hanging out with the boys club that doesn’t appear in co-ed gatherings,” she wrote. “The president blows off steam on the golf course with male colleagues and friends. He takes to the White House basketball court with NBA stars, men’s college players, and male cabinet members and members of Congress.”

As a presidential candidate in 2008, Obama was criticized for paying the women on his campaign staff less than the men, and far less than GOP opponent John McCain paid his female staffers."

    lol

Obama is waging a war against women, yet, oddly enough, he is outpolling Romney among women by nearly 20%

The republican party has ALWAYS been the party that has stood behind black Americans ever since the Emancipation Proclamation, yet, oddly enough, blacks vote democratic 90% of the time.

    Is there no JUSTICE???????

So they're going off little to no information about the job, how long they've been working, ECT to actually prove their claim?

When Obama beats Personhood amendments, transvaginal ultrasounds, and attacks on contraception then you can tell us about Obama's war on women

On a Romney campaign surrogates conference call to bash President Barack Obama's stewardship of the economy Wednesday morning, officials faced a series of questions about the campaign's recent argument that 92 percent of jobs lost during the recession were held by women.

Three separate times the surrogates, who included Lanhee Chen, the campaign's chief policy adviser, were asked what specifically about Obama's policies are bad for women, and three times the campaign offered no specifics.

And then Sam Stein of the Huffington Post asked about the first bill Obama signed as president, a bill lifting the statute of limitations for women who sue to receive equal pay for performing the same jobs as men.

"Does Gov. Romney support the Lilly Ledbetter Act?" asked Sam Stein of the Huffington Post.

After a six-second pause, an unidentified voice replied, "Sam, we'll get back to you on that."

The Romney press aide arranging the call did not immediately respond to requests to clarify Romney's position on the act

Two hours later, by which time the Obama campaign emailed reporters a reaction from Ledbetter herself and gleefully sought to create a Twitter meme from the Romney campaign’s fumble, the Romney campaign responded by saying that Romney is “not proposing any changes” to the Ledbetter act.

And at the close of his 17-minute address in Hartford, Romney invited his supporters — women standing behind him to make the TV shot, while the mostly male audience is kept, literally, out of the picture — to help him make his case.

By comparing job figures with January 2009 and March 2012 and weighing them against women’s job figures from the same periods, the Romney camp came up with 92.3 percent. The numbers are accurate but quite misleading. First, Obama cannot be held entirely accountable for the employment picture on the day he took office, just as he could not be given credit if times had been booming. The trend had already begun in the last days of Bush. Second, by choosing figures from January 2009, months into the recession, the statement ignored the millions of jobs lost before then, when most of the job loss fell on men. In every recession, men are the first to take the hit, followed by women. It's a historical pattern, not an effect of Obama's policies.

Apparently Obama doesn't believe in equal pay.

how can you tell? You incorrectly assume that women employees on average, work at jobs equally taxing or difficult or ranking as men do. In fact, it may very well be that women, in fact, make MORE than their male peers at any particular level in the organization.

Looks like your critical skills ain't to f'ing critical. wtf? ahhh... it's really not a bfd.

AHHH......so he keeps them down and doesn't promote them so they can make equal pay..................gotcha:thumbsup:

Guess you missed this one too

    "
Top female advisers felt left out by a boy's club in the White House where rampant infighting sabotaged the administration's economic decisions, according to a controversial new book.

Sidelined and ignored in the West Wing, some women aides reportedly complained to President Obama about their treatment in 2009.

In an excerpt obtained by the Washington Post, a female senior aide is quoted as calling the White House a hostile environment for women."
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...tile-environment-women-treated-like-meat.html

And then of course was the comment about women who stay at home by his Democrat spokesperson.

I would think... I would HOPE.... that the president promotes on merit, experience, and vision, not plumbing.

and, since your quote is from 2009, I would guess that you would have then name of the actual "controversial new book" that the quote purportedly came from.

    I looked over the spreadsheet.

Women in the White House are paid the same (sometimes more) wages as their male counterparts.

The story and your statements are...surprise surprise... misleading at best and outright lies at their worst.

Let's be real here, isn't it a little disingenuous to call it "Obama's War Against Women"? I mean, what are the statistics of previous administrations? What are the statistics worldwide? It should be called, "Men's War Against Women."

Not really convincing. Taking the whole country into account, women earn a salary of approx 23% less than the median salary for male employees even when it comes to jobs like secretaries.

Have you looked at how many high ranking women employees are in the Romney camp?

As head of Bain, Romney hired only 1 woman among 40 top managers.

Thats because the Republican party today is more like the Democratic party of the past and vice versa. In otherwords, If Lincoln was alive today he would be a Democrat.

I think we can all agree that this "war on women" accusation is nothing more than your typical election talking point. Next week both candidates will accuse each other of waging war on the American family or someone's religion. Only fools get worked up over this nonsense.

Exactly. Women just don't know whats best for them. Good thing we have those strong republican men around that can tell a woman what is right for her to believe in.

and you have the gall to suggest that someone else was posting something childish?

    wtf?

Obama polls 20% higher than Mitt with women and that's because MOST of those women are "stupid democrats"???

Do you honestly think that people with a different political philosophy than you are all stupid?

    grow up.

    "get my goat"? hardly.

you just seem to be unable to act your age and not your shoe size and, given that, I thought it was funny that you would call someone else out for immaturity.

I find all the blustery rightwing prognostications of Obama's impending doom to be akin to whistling past the graveyard.... the most recent poll has Obama increasing his lead over Mitt AFTER Santorum dropped out. But you guys don't believe in polls and scoff at them... unless they say what you want them to say, then you love them.

p.s. Norfolk, eh? I was stationed there a couple of times and I probably walked on your lawn even though the sign told me not to!

my guess is, with you having three YOUNG daughters (all girls, too. glad to hear that... do you, by any chance, know anyone with daughters who were other than girls?) I probably walked on YOUR lawn when you were still in nursery school, so you would have been unaware of it.

And, in my day, we used to walk on a lot of lawns in Norfolk coming home from liberty and, most of the time, the occupants were blissfully ignorant of our passage or the occasional showers we left behind.

the bottom line is: you tend to needlessly and foolishly denigrate your political opponents... which is childish and kinda funny to witness.
