and what does that have to do with the current crises to stop the Arab Spring bringing Democracy to Yemen. What does that have to do with Sadi Arabia and its allies committing a genocide on the people of Yemen because it has a paranoia over Iran.

Hell, Margot if you knew anything about anything you would be talking about the FIRST WORLD WAR.

Here is what this thread is on. They talk also discusses how the US and UK are contributing to this catastrophe for money from the arms they sell. Indeed it is not just the US and UK who are doing it even Sweden is selling arms to UAE.

Oh for gods sake Margot. People do not have democracy when the President is decided by the GCC and it is forbidden to have anyone to oppose him.

LOL.. You didn't know so now you're being rude and flinging silly accusations.

On 24 December 1997, Parliament approved Saleh's promotion to the rank of field marshal. He is currently the highest-ranking military officer in Yemen. He became Yemen's first directly-elected president in the 1999 presidential election, winning 96.2% of the vote.

Pff the Saudi / American meddling in the ME gave us them success stories of having ISIS in Iraq and Syria where it wasn't there before. And in Yemen they are about to have millions of people who die from starvation and thirst. And it looks like Iran is trying to reverse this. They are in Irak fighting ISIS. They are in Syria fighting ISIS. They support the people who are being starved to death in Yemen.

A rebel minority overthrew the government, attacked the US embassy and they are backed by Iran.

You mean, a group who is violently oppressed by their dictator demand their freedom. A dictator who the US supports in a military way. And now this group is being starved to death by their dictator, with the help of Saudi Arabia and the US.

As is asked in the vid I posted "are we the baddies?".

You refuse to respond to how the US, Saudi Arabia and the government is behaving against this group, for the sake to avoid the idea that you're rooting for the wrong side.

You know that Yemen is a constitutional republic, don't you?

Are you familiar with the various terrorist groups in Yemen?

The best way to cut down on the world's population is prosperity. Look what it did to Europe.

You know that in reality the government wipes their asses with this constitution?
Is this like a reason that deliberately starving a couple of million people to death is alright or something?

    The rebels overthrew the government...

Wake up. As soon as Saudi said they would lift the blockade, the Houthis announced they were going to escalate the conflict.

I see no problem that some oppessive thug government is overthrown.

Uh nope. If Saudi Arabia backed up by the US refuses to lift their blockade against the Houthis and starves them to death, than it's just genocide. And Saudi and Trump got that blood on their hands if that happens. At no point are the victims to be blamed here. Wake up.

Saleh wasn't a thug.. Neither is Hamdi..

AL Qaeda started pouring into Yemen in 2000. Boko Haram is there, some Somali pirates, Al Houthis, Al Shabaz and more recently ISIS.

Saleh with the highest rank in the military also being the president for +30 years.... and that's no sign that it's a thug government. lol

Still no reason to starve millions of people. A government that does that, isn't a thug government? Ha!

I don't quite understand the status now since the Houthis toppled the government, but a president is elected for a 7 year term.

They have elections in Egypt too. They just outlawed the biggest political party so Sisi was able to win. Sisi is or was the countries highest ranked military officer. Oh yeah.... "democracy" at work. lol. North Korea's official first name is "Democratic".

I was in Asir in 2000 and at that point the Saudis had moved a bunch of villages back from the border with Yemen 20 kilometers and had begun developing a border fence with electronic surveillance to keep them out of Arabia.

You might ask that question of any of the half dozen terrorist groups that have taken over Yemen.

What terrorist groups? Please Margot, they're just freedom fighters yearning for democracy and human rights...good people forced to kill bad guys who oppress them, like those dreadful mean...well...just dreadful mean, and those despicable oppressing nuns...

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/gunmen-kill-16-including-4-nuns-in-yemen-retirement-home/

More on the democracy loving white doves' darlings here:
    https://clarionproject.org/?s=yemen

Facts are optional in the eyes of US haters.

Accusing US and Saudi Arabia of genocide in Yemen while cheering for Assad, Putin and Hezbollah in Syria is beyond hypocrisy. There's no reasoning with those blinded by hatred.

My favorite part is where the white doves claim that it's not fair for one side to have better weapons. Know what, let's give the other side the exact same weapons and pay for mercenaries to fight for them so they have the exact same number of fighters. This way, wars will never end. Yay [IMG]
