Sorry alpha but I don't think your statement is necessarily entirely true, but hey don't take my word for it, read below what the experts have to say after completing their studies:

Many people believe that women have a higher threshold for pain because they can endure childbirth. To some degree this may be true, because the female body is designed to release certain hormones that act as pain-blockers of sorts during the birthing process, so the mother’s perception of the pain may be diminished.
But overall, studies are finding overwhelming evidence that women do, in fact, experience more pain than men… even if only perceived.

Since pain is subjective to each individual, it’s difficult to determine whether the pain reported by one research subject is actually greater in intensity than that of another, male or female. However, a common result across most studies has been a significantly higher number of females reporting greater levels of pain than men. The consistency of this difference is enough to indicate that the findings are valid, even if we don’t fully the exact reason for the discrepancies.

There are many factors that may contribute to how pain is perceived by women versus men, either physically or psychologically.
From a biological standpoint, there are differences between women and men that could account for these findings. For instance:
Studies have found that the female body has a more intense natural response to painful stimuli, indicating a difference between genders in the way pain systems function.
A greater nerve density present in women may cause them to feel pain more intensely than men.

The fluctuating nature of female hormones may amplify the body’s perception of pain. For instance, when estrogen levels are low during the menstrual cycle or after menopause, pain receptor activity is elevated, which in turn causes the body to feel more pain.

Women have a greater risk for many chronic pain-causing conditions, particularly during their reproductive years, and therefore report pain with more frequency than men.
From a psychological perspective, it is also known that women and men are ‘wired’ differently, and this may contribute to the perception of pain, however great or slight.
Additionally, conditions such as anxiety and depression, which are reported in greater numbers in women, may exacerbate the effects of painful conditions, even if the pain itself hasn’t actually intensified.

Some theories even suggest that because women are more mindful of how they feel physically, they may simply notice the pain more than men do.
While studies have not yet pinpointed an exact reason for the contrast between the female and male pain experience, it is apparent that this difference does indeed exist. Each individual — of either sex — perceives and reacts to pain in their own way.

If you’re experiencing pain that inhibits your ability to perform daily activities and robs your quality of life, regardless of your gender, it is worthwhile to consult with a qualified pain doctor to determine how to reduce or eliminate your pain.

    https://riversidepainphysicians.com/do-women-feel-more-pain-more-intensely-than-men/

Again alpha your statement is not entirely true, read below what the experts have to say:

Male and female bodies are different. Although there are extreme outliers in both sexes and some individuals choose to change their sex by taking artificial hormones and surgery to alter their appearance, male and female bodies have different bone structure, muscle mass, and levels of various hormones. Because of these innate differences, men and women can experience injuries and recovery differently. If you have been injured in a workplace accident, your gender can affect how you recover. Discuss these gender differences with your doctor, especially if you are female. The majority of individuals who suffer workplace injuries are male and because of this, much of the literature available about recovering from these types of injuries is geared toward male readers.

    Recovering From Brain Injuries

Brain injuries are one area where men and women can expect significantly different recovery experiences. Women tend to have more severe concussion symptoms than men. However, men can take longer than women to recover from their concussions. In studies of individuals who are years past their concussions, women were found to have better memory and language skills while men were found to have better visual analytic skills. However, this could be due to individuals' increased strength in these areas prior to their concussions and persisting stereotypes about each sex.

    Recovering From Physical Injuries

Because men, in general, have a greater muscle mass than women and build muscle more easily, men can often recover from physical injuries more efficiently than women. Women who suffer injuries like strains, sprains, and injuries that require the patient to avoid strenuous activity should be aware of their how they can safely maintain their muscle tone during their recovery. Low-stress exercise like yoga can be a great way for any injured individual to maintain his or her muscle tone. Consuming more protein, such as through nutritional supplements, can also help an injury victim build and maintain muscle.

    Gender-Specific Risk

It is also important that individuals are aware of the injuries they are more susceptible to suffer because of their gender. Women are more likely than men to suffer knee injuries and because of differing hip structures between the sexes, men and women tend to suffer different types of musculoskeletal injuries in the legs. If you suffer from a knee, leg, or hip injury, talk to your doctor about the sex-based differences between these injuries so you can focus on the type of recovery treatment that will work effectively for your body.

Not at all. I think that an all powerful, all compassionate God would come up with a better system than eternal damnation and suffering as punishment for finite "crimes". Especially while effectively hiding the proof that any of this is true from the very people he plans to punish.

Another steaming pile ... brought forth from the place of dark bile .. what is this web of deceit and deception Brother Mitt - What is this pleasure you take in desecrating and misrepresenting scripture ..

The good book says created in the image of the Gods .. some of which are represented in the Bible .. but you won't tell us which of the Gods you worship .. or answer any "Tough Questions" .. in your thread about tough questions .. where you misrepresent scripture .. supplant the teachings of Christ with man made dogma .. and teach others to do the same ..

Do not hide from the teachings Brother Mitt -- covering up the light will not help you find your way through the darkness .. :crossbones::cynic::chainsaw::censored:

That's hilarious. I went to check and that post Mitt just responded to is from 2014. Lol!

So maybe a decade from now Mitt will answer our difficult questions. It takes him a while to get the answers I suppose.

Sorry above but your statement doesn't really make any sense, not logical to put it bluntly. Truth be told, yes women are less muscular than men being that they have a higher proportion of body fat compared to men. So I don't know how you can say their bodies are more efficient...maybe in storing body fat is what you mean but if a body is less muscular and has a higher proportion of body fat how is it more efficient other than storing body fat at a higher proportion than men?

But here let me present something from the experts below:

Women have a higher proportion of body fat compared to men. However, women consume fewer kilojoules per kilogram lean mass and burn fat more preferentially during exercise compared with men. During gestation, women store even greater amounts of fat that cannot be solely attributed to increased energy intake. These observations suggest that the relationship between kilojoules consumed and kilojoules utilised is different in men and women. The reason for these sex differences in energy metabolism is not known; however, it may relate to sex steroids, differences in insulin resistance, or metabolic effects of other hormones such as leptin. When considering lifestyle modifications, sex differences in energy metabolism should be considered. Moreover, elucidating the regulatory role of hormones in energy homeostasis is important for understanding the pathogenesis of obesity and perhaps in the future may lead to ways to reduce body fat with less energy restriction.

Fat gain is always considered to be a result of long-term positive energy balance, whereby daily energy intake exceeds expenditure. From the onset of puberty to menopause, women maintain a greater percentage body fat mass (FM) than men despite smaller energy intake per kg lean mass [1] and preferential use of fat as a fuel during exercise compared to men [2]. A potential reason for these findings is that the greater FM in women relates to more efficient fat storage during nonexercising periods, especially postprandial periods [3]. During pregnancy, women deposit between 2.4 to 5.9 kg of body fat, even when undernourished [4]. In well-nourished women, the energy cost of gestation is approximately 370 MJ [5]. How this energy requirement is met is not explained purely by an increase in energy consumption, as past studies failed to demonstrate this in the first half of pregnancy [6, 7]. The reproductive years and gestation are characterised by elevated levels of ovarian hormones. Evidence indicates that oestrogens contribute to the gender differences in FM and the gestational changes in body composition [3]. Human and animal studies have explored possible mechanisms of action by these hormones [8, 9]. When considering lifestyle modifications, the sex difference in energy metabolism needs to be considered.

The first half of this paper focuses on differences between men and women: the gender differences in FM are outlined, aspects of energy metabolism that may account for these differences are discussed, and the key metabolic roles of ovarian hormones are discussed. Against this backdrop, the second half of this paper focuses on body composition and energy balance during pregnancy.

Yes, it's true on average women live longer than men but let's see why this is so according to the experts. It has more to do with risky behavior patterns of men. Anyway below is what the experts tell us:

The numbers don’t lie: women tend to live longer than men. The average American man will live to age 76, according to the latest CDC figures, while the average woman in America will live to age 81.

And a woman’s extra years tend to be healthy ones. The World Health Organization’s HALE index, which calculates the number of years a man or woman can expect to live without a major disease or injury, finds that American men can look forward to 67 healthy years, while American women will enjoy 70 years of “full heath.”
This male-female lifespan gap is not a new phenomenon; experts have known about it for decades. It’s also not restricted to Americans. “This gender gap in life expectancy is true for all societies, and it is also true for the great apes,” says Dr. Perminder Sachdev, a professor of neuropsychiatry at the University of New South Wales in Australia who has studied human longevity.

Why do women tend to outlive men? Sachdev says there are a few popular theories—some to do with biology, and some to do with behavior.
“Men are more likely to smoke, drink excessively and be overweight,” he says. “They are also less likely to seek medical help early, and, if diagnosed with a disease, they are more likely to be non-adherent to treatment.” On top of all that, he says, men are more likely to take life-threatening risks and to die in car accidents, brawls or gun fights.

There’s evidence that a man’s biology—namely, his elevated levels of the male sex hormone testosterone—may lead him into the kind of trouble that could shorten his life. Research from Duke University has found that elevated testosterone levels are associated with risky behaviors.

Experts say testosterone may abbreviate a man’s lifespan in other ways. “Male sex hormones decrease immune function and increase the risk for cardiovascular diseases,” says Kyung-Jin Min, a professor of biological sciences at Inha University in South Korea.

In a 2012 study published in the journal Current Biology, Min and his colleagues examined the historical health records of 81 Korean eunuchs: men who were castrated as children, and who therefore stopped producing much testosterone. They found the eunuchs tended to live about 14 to 19 years longer than uncastrated men who shared their same socio-economic status.

While the links between testosterone and immune function aren’t clear, Min’s study points to lab research showing that testosterone may block the release of some disease-fighting immune cells. On the other hand, there’s also a good amount of research linking low levels of testosterone to heart disease and poor health outcomes in men, so the relationships between testosterone and a man’s health are complex.

It may well be that a man’s hormones aren’t to blame; instead, a woman’s hormones may offer her some added lifespan benefits.
“Estrogen appears to be protective—it has been shown to have an antioxidant role,” says Sachdev. A 2013 review in the International Journal of Endocrinology found evidence that estrogen can prevent the kind of DNA damage that leads to disease. That review also turned up evidence that estrogen can help maintain normal, healthy cell function.

These sorts of findings help explain the male-female longevity gap. But why would evolution and natural selection instill women, but not men, with these life-extending attributes?

“All this is entirely speculative,” Sachdev says, but it may have to do with a female’s historical role as child-rearer. “Once children are born, men are disposable,” he says. “But the robust body of the mother is important for the survival of the offspring.” A woman’s body has evolved to withstand and bounce back from the physical trauma of pregnancy and childbirth, as well as the demands of breastfeeding—challenges to which a male’s body is never exposed.

As the saying goes, what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. And for women, that strength may translate to a longer, healthier life.

Ha?...lol ...you claim to be as physically fit as a person of your age can be, you're tough as nails, endured things most people could not believe, but then if all things were equal your mother of 70 would be tougher than you.

Sorry above but again you're not making any sense. You say, "if all things were equal" well truth be told, "all things are not equal" I mean why can't you just admit that your 70 yr. old mother at the time you posted this post of yours 8 yrs. ago was not tougher than you. But of course there was a period of time when she was tougher than you...the time when you were just a slobbering, snot nosed kid...she was indeed tougher than you!...lol

Well ok above thanks for your post, will continue later on to respond to your other comments.

Here is one Matt ran away from:

If an all powerful being wants you to know something, why does he not simply make you know it? Why does he rely on ancient texts and middle man prophets who get so much wrong that we have hundreds of conflicting versions of what he wants? And how can he then "judge" people based on this message that most of them never received?

Like Brother Todd said, "what tough questions?" And fyi my jolly good fella I answered your easy questions way back on March 14, 2021. You are just like your brother the not so gifted one who forgets, who never takes notes and as a result of that asks the same easy questions over and over.

But anyway when the day comes and you find yourself in hell you will know that you deserved to be there since you were too stubborn and not so bright in choosing to not believe in the Creator Almighty God. You rather put your faith in "nothing" as being the cause of all this existence that's all around us and not the Creator Almighty God as being the One who caused all this existence that's all around us.

Science/logic tells us, "From nothing comes nothing" but of course unbelievers like you adhere to the illogical statement that, "From nothing comes something".

Ok my jolly good fella thanks for your post that I exposed as not being true for I did answer your questions way back on March 14, 2021 on Part 38, #1022, pg. 41. And try your best not to get into the bad habit like your brother the not so gifted one who doesn't take notes and who continually asks the same easy questions over and over.

No, you didn't. You dodged it then, and you dodged it again now. You never actually address it. There may be a very good answer, but you haven't given any.

If God wanted me to know he exists, I would know he exists. Simple as that. Why is that wrong? Isn't he all powerful? Why is he restricted to written and spoken word?

I didn't write that. Why presume that? And why would my preference matter? If he exists, then he exists. If he does not, then he does not. All I know for sure is that he hasn't made his existence known to me. He could exist, and be doing that for a good reason.

Again, not what I wrote. This is just your creative attempt to dodge the question I did ask again. Later will you pretend that you answered it twice? A decade from now when I am no longer here will you actually answer it?

If it is such an easy question, then why all the smoke and mirrors? Why not just answer the question directly? As I said, maybe there is a good answer. What is it?

How is that not like saying that if man were meant to fly, he'd have wings? God doesn't live here. So if someone wants to inquire of him, they have to send up a sincere prayer.

What makes you think they haven't? Why haven't you yourself made this prayer?
I don't do it myself because I'm not a believer, so by definition no praryer from myself could be sincere, just as you couldn't sincerely pray to Zeus.

Also, ok, God doesn't live here. That may be relevant if God wasn't all knowing or all powerful. But if he is? If he is all knowing then he already knows any question you may be wondering about regarding him, and your prayers could only be about you showing yourself and those around you your dedication to God. God himself would already know. Prayer as communication to God makes no sense at all, so long as God is all knowing. If he isn't, then sure, maybe that's a point. Is he?

And do you yourself have any answer to the question itself? Do you think there is one that we simply don't know? Does it bother you at all if not?

If you want to know if God lives, you have to pray to him. If you don't want to know, then don't. If you have no interest one way or the other, then why ask me or anyone else any questions about it at all. You clearly don't care. But then you query as if you do. You are fickle.

What exactly is your question? You said that if God is real, and if he wanted you to know it, that he would make it known to you, and you would know it. And because he hasn't, then he isn't. I don't know if that is your question or if it is a statement. But your thinking is along the lines of, if man were meant to fly, he'd have wings. So why try and thus offend the natural order of things. If I have missed your question, then say it, so that someone as dense as I can understand it.

I might add, that if your question is: Is it wrong to think that if God were real and wanted you to know it, that he would make himself known?....I would say, no it's not wrong. As I see it, your inquisitiveness brings you to, and then stops, at the point of inspiration and faith. If you want fish, they aren't gonna jump out of the water into your lap. You have to cast a line out with a measure of belief/faith/inspiration. That's why I said you have to ask or pray to God with a measure of faith. Faith precedes everything we do in life. Otherwise nothing would get done. Faith then is proven immeasurably in our lives. But you must exercise it in this matter, or it won't get done. Maybe it will bear fruit. Maybe it won't, for whatever reason. But at least you will have tried. It is to each of us to gather the will to do. Granted that matters of God are not generic everyday matters, such as going to work, cooking dinner, and so forth. But it has its place, and its place is greater than all things.

First, I want to thank you for attempting to engage the question, though you are still focussed on humans and not God, who the question is about. This is a question Matt has avoided for years, and you are attempting to address it. So kudos to you.

Second, I want to acknowledge that communication isn't flawless between people. We have to rely on medium prone to error, and writing is better than mere spoken word to preserve a message or revelation. Writing is possibly the best and method of conveying information between two people.

But, God, if he is omnipotent and created the universe, wouldn't have human limitations, right? Could he not simply make people know whatever he wants them to know? Why doesn't he? Why do we have conflicting claims on it from earnest people seeking that information?

Why are you comparing the question to flight and us not having wings? Why is that an apt analogy?

Are you suggesting that maybe God wants us to work for understanding? That he wants us to pray or whatever and then we will all understand and agree on who he is and what he wants? Is that not obviously false to you since people who attempt that reach different and conflicting answers, both between competing religions and within your own religion?

Also, with flight, it's obvious when we accomplish it. We may have different ideas on what would work, but once somebody stays up in the air and doesn't fall, it is clear to all that they accomplished it.

Is it obvious when we truly understand God's message? Is it obvious to you that the Muslims or Hindus are correct? And if you say they are wrong, is that obvious to them? No.

We have had centuries of bloody conflict over differing visions and beliefs of what the divine is and what it wants. Could God not have avoided that by having all these people know who he actually is and what he actually wants? Does he intend the confusion and conflict resulting from his choice of communication medium? Is the tower of Babel story a clue to this?

And then what of the second part of my question? Is he actually judging us on how we react to his message if we never receive and understand it?

A crusader, jihadi, witch burner, inquisition interrogator, etc, may have it very wrong what God wants (I would hope so) but it is clear they are loyal and obedient to what they think God wants. No?

Some people bring up free will when addressing the above.

If you are forced into a particular understanding of something (as your senses and illusions do to you frequently), is your free will violated? After you have the understanding you are still free to act on it however you wish, right? And in order to act on the information, you have to have it as I pointed out in my last post, so failing to act on it or acting on a misunderstanding of it isn't you freely acting on IT, yes? To freely act on some information, and to be "judged" on how you act on that information, you'd need to know that information, correct?

I don't know why there are so many different beliefs. I suppose they are the beliefs and philosophies of men, made different by differing intellects, circumstances, and traditions. In Christianity alone, where there is supposed to be one God and Gospel, there are tens of thousands of differing denominations with differing interpretations of the same Jewish scripture(Bible).

Personally I think that God appeals to, and would have us all know him the same. But in deference to our personal choices and seasons, he is rendered to the sidelines while we willfully go about our business. Who can know all things? To me it is a personal matter. The Almighty God is a quiet servant.

All I can say is that I personally know(from Gods spirit) that God is real, that he lives and is divine. I know that we all know him, but have forgotten him like a world wide amnesia. Or like when you go to sleep at night, you forget your life and you dream. And while you dream you think the dream is your life. But when you awaken, you recognize and remember your life and the dream fades away. This is akin to being awakened by God to a remembrance of him. And then realizing that your life is in him, as if there were a new light in your sky. And your old life, along with the religions, philosophies, and traditions of mankind are parsed or scooted aside. And you are made free and independent from it all. Then by virtue of the difference, you are called to the patience and long suffering of God. Of course, with this comes the requirements of faith in Jesus Christ, repentance, baptism, and receiving the gift of the holy ghost by those with true authority rather than by those who fraudulently attempt to approximate the ordinance in service to an image. I speak only for myself, and not for the world or others.

Jesus Christ made reference to this when he said:
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Matthew 27:21-23

So no matter our studiousness and will, we cannot suppose to design our own salvation or insert ourselves into the storyline of the biblical congregation. Only God himself can do that. And the Bible is not God to save or grant us authority. It is the Jews testimony of him....thin words on thin paper. To know all the words therein, frontwards and backwards, accomplishes nothing more than to know about God. But it is not to actually know him or be known by him. Such is the dilemma of those to whom he referred as "ye that work iniquity."

So whether in our imagination, that we collect the multitude of religions into one. Or whether we view them in their scattered states upon the earth. It is apparent that they are babel and fallen. And there can only be one true God overall.
