Since you don't know me personally and have no idea what political issues are of importance to me, as predicted, your assuming again. Try a new angle son.
The only thing that is pathetic is your complete lack of any rebuttal. Do you have a point to argue or are insults all you have left?
My point is that your characterization of MSNBC as being racist is pathetically misguided, what else can I say?
lol Why do people bring up freedom of speech in defense of people who get in trouble with their employer for their words? Freedom of speech doesn't protect you from your boss. It protects you from being charged with a crime for your words. If you say something stupid, people are still going to call you out for it. Your boss may want to discipline you as well. It has nothing to do with freedom of speech.
Ok how this for an angle since I dont know you. Were the comments against the romney child racist? Yes or no. This way we can have you tell us where you stand.
You cant say anything obviously. Ive reduced you to insults. Since no one was fired for the race attack it means Msnbc doesnt have a problem with what they said if they did they would be fired.
I don't know if he was a good man or not. On the wider issue though, this is a debate in academics right now on whether or not "trigger warnings" are necessary and appropriate. Some schools require professors to issue them before presenting any material that could conceivably be offensive to any student as if taking a class about say the Civil War isn't clear enough to the students that slavery would be discussed.
I've already said some of those people should be fired or banned from MSNBC. But what exactly is the difference between anyone defending them and you coming into a topic about a right wing man being fired for calling the president a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) and then instead of directly condoning the man you seek out left wing racists. This isn't about left or right. This is about a racist man who deserves to be fired not because of his politics but because he's supposed to be a protector of the people and you can no longer trust him to protect all people equally. It's that simple. But here you are trying to stir up left v right politics. How are you any different from anyone defending MSNBC here?
It takes you a while to process this information? This happened weeks ago, so how long before you can muster your stance? Or would you rather just admit Im right so you wont have to keep dodging?
Wasnt he forced to resign? That leaves us with the msnbc racists to deal with next ir are you ok with nothing happening to certain racists?
this yahoo completely embarrassed the citizens of his town. I am sure his phone was ringing off the hook with locals calling to give him a piece of their minds. I don't see how ANYONE on the national level "forced" this guy to retire. It seems like he showed what little common sense he actually has and listened to his constituents and neighbors.
Not dodging as you maintain; I'd rather make an informed decision as opposed to one based on ignorance; do you have an issue that concept?
He wasn't forced to do anything. A resignation is a voluntary action; no one can force you to resign against your will (if you have will power); this commissioner reviewed his actions and apparently decided that his remaining in office would not be in his best interests and quite possibly the best interests of the community that he was serving. This has nothing to do with any news organization being "racist" as you maintain. Your attempt to paint MSNBC as a racist news organization is truly pathetic.
