    I'm aware of that.

There are no economies of scale in our oil and gas industry. We are still using rocker pumps.

How much oil is this well head producing per day?

With crude, eventually you have no choice but to pump once the initial pressure is bled off. There are technologies today that maintain pressure longer but eventually it to succumb to volume and seepage.

My area is that of NG, so pressures at the head are generally pretty high! But not high enough to maintain a flow for great distances, so that where pump/boost stations come in! The same type of thing is used with any pipeline delivery system, crude is pumped into holding tanks and then moved along lines via pump/boost stations until it hits the refinery and then heads out another set of lines designated for refined fuels.

Point being, to say pipelines are temp jobs is true and false, under ideal planning there should "ALWAYS" be pipeline jobs for anyone wanting to work in that field!

Actually, that analogy is not very accurate.

Yes, there are oil service industries that benefit from the existance of a pipeline. But since oil and gas require very little handling other than refining and storage (one of the main reasons why oil and gas have been steadily displacing coal for over a century now), there is little in the way of additional infrastructure needed.

Only one or two products move on a pipeline.

That's not anything like an interstate highway, which moves people and goods in all sorts of industry all the time.

Pipelines won't generate warehouses, assembly plants, hotels, restaurants, truck stops, office parks or any of the other industries that typically follow the intersate.

... and the oil cleanup jobs will probably be numerous, in due time.

    ALL Jobs are temporary.Quite Literally.
Nixon found it out the hard way.
Steelworkers found it out.Even with guaranteed legacy plans.
    Bethlehem Steel went under.
Even PATCO { Professional Air Traffic Control Organization } which started in
1968 was Decertified in 1981 by President Reagan.
Marriage as an Institution was also Decertified.By this clown in the White
House named Barack.Made no difference that a f majority of States voted on it
and Said NO. This Clown Obama went ahead and managed it's passage.
He also forced The Little Sisters of the Poor to give up their exempt status.
Obama vowed he would not use his healthcare law to violate religious liberty.
He did.And did so belligerently and proudly.
Obama was a clown.A court jester as POTUS,amusing hisself at the expense
    of We the People.
No one gets out of life alive.
    lest of which some job.

    Human beings aren't permanent.

I guess we should just lie in bed all day.

Come to think of it, that is a life goal of many Dems.

    All jobs are temporary.

Criticizing job creation because it may only last for a certain period of time is no different than criticizing the quality of a meal because you need to eat again tomorrow.

All government jobs go over budget. That published cost of the wall be be more than tripled if it ever goes ahead and the maintenance cost will be huge. There will never be a point in time where anyone will be able to say that the wall is finished
