Attorney: Cop Shot Teen For Answering The Door With A Video Game Controller February 21, 2014 by Sam Rolley Police serving a warrant in Euharlee, Ga., shot and killed a 17-year-old boy last week when he answered the door of his home with a video game controller in hand. Christopher Roupe, a member of the Woodland High ROTC and aspiring Marine, was allegedly holding the remote for a Wii video game when officers arrived at his mobile home to serve a probation violation warrant on his father. When the teen opened the door, a female officer, who later claimed he had a gun, opened fire. But the familys attorney and some neighbors say that the officers story doesnt add up. We dont know where that statement came from. The eyewitnesses on the scene clearly state that he had a Wii controller in his hand. He heard a knock at the door. He asked who it was, there was no response so he opened the door and upon opening the door he was immediately shot in the chest, attorney Cole Law said. Tia Howard, a neighbor who lives a few doors down from the Roupe family, told WSBT that she arrived at the scene moments after hearing the shooting. When we got up there, they said there was a Wii remote in his hand and she shot him, she said. In an official statement, the police department alleged that the teen answered the door with a gun pointed directly at the female office. One neighbor on the scene noted that the officer realized her mistake almost immediately after taking the boys life. She put her head in her hands and she was sobbing, Ken Yates told WSBT. Prohibition is a modern progressive invention and to enforce the sort of legislation that you progressives demand of your politicians, one needs to have a powerful and largely immune agency which employes armed bureaucrats to enforce all of those regulations, statutes, and administrative rules. Corruption has always been common to government, and the bureaucrats it arms and empowers to incarcerate or even kill citizens is no different. However, in the past, not so many were needed to keep the peace because that was their only job - to keep the peace. The role of the modern armed government bureaucrat is to enforce all political dictates, with as little tolerance as possible.
