As an aside but indirectly related, in order to get my health back, I gave up carbs - almost all carbs. No bread or wheat products, potatoes, pasta, beans, corn, booze, most fruit... and no sugar of course! 70 pounds down and years later, I can cheat now and then and I'm fine. If I overdo it I can get myself in trouble. But a little here and a little there is fine.

My new sb loves toast in the morning. So I bought the first bread I've bought in over 6 years. She would have taken it with her but she was leaving town for two weeks. So I ended up with a loaf of sourdough bread in their talking to me late one night - Eat me! Eat me! Tooooooooooast. The thing is, I found that bread was mostly responsible for a lifelong and chronic reflux problem. The day I stopped eating bread, I stopped eating Rolaids or Tums for the first time in my life... since about age 10.

So above all, I knew I shouldn't eat bread. White bread is evil!!! But the calls from the kitchen got louder and louder. And then the fresh butter in the fridge called out. At that point I caved. And I had the first toast that I've had in a very long time. OMG was that good!!!!

I awoke in the middle of the night and thought I was going to die. I was choking and my throat was burning. And my lungs were burning. I coughed almost uncontrollably for most of about twenty minutes before it began to clear. I finally realized what had happened. The bread caused me to have a severe reflux reaction. It was so bad that I aspirated the stomach acid in my sleep. That's why my lungs were burning. So much for toast!

She's already a vegetarian, and by luck and she just informed me that she's going keto-vegetarian; meaning ketogenic - very low carb. She doesn't know about my little episode but I guess I got her interested in the Keto diet. Heh. Problem solved. She won't be tempting me! :D

I had to learn to love tofu in a hurry! I was warned by a buddy that vegetarians will get grossed out if you eat meat, Then they won't want to kiss you.

While we're on about things Healthy(ier).

    Got me a G-PRIV 200w Vape.

I've vape'd before, with lesser products, with great success...

    I'm a near 3 pack-a-day guy.... Been a solid 2 a day, for over 30 years.

Last Vape tryout, saw me go w/o a cig for 2 weeks.... A MAJOR miracle.

I think I will have zero troubles dropping the cigs with this product.

The Smok G-PRIV Vape is a miracle.

From 2+ packs of smokes a day, for the better part of 37 years, (I started smoking @ 9yo) to 5 cigs a day since Friday.

For the first time since we started seeing each other, my sugar baby came over but I didn't expect to have sex. I needed her to take me to the urgent care for an abscess on my leg. Damned thing came out of nowhere. It only took a couple of hours, but by the time we got back, had a bite to eat and relaxed, it was getting late. I figured she was about ready to leave. But instead she pressured me into having sex. LOL. I really didn't expect to feel up to it and told her so, but she decided I seemed to be doing okay. This was great to hear. Now I know she really wants to be here. It takes a little time to figure out if a woman is sincerely interested in a relationship or just working me for the perks. But she had an easy out and didn't take it. Her heart is clearly in this. We even had a moment when we connected in a way we haven't before. It takes me back a bit when a beautiful young woman, over 25 years my younger, looks at me as if I was 25 years younger. Yep, no doubt about it, she got to me tonight. And we always have a wonderful time.

The bad thing about taking oxycodone [prescribed] is that I never want to get to bed. I'm having too much fun. Woohooo!!!!

The Doctor [female] told me I have a very high tolerance for pain.

I said, "Yes, I was married a long time!".

She laughed and said she has to tell that one to her husband. Good thing! She wasn't done yet.

It would put me right to sleep and back up my digestive tract better than what my Mom would give me for diarrhea as a kid.....Cream of Wheat with cheese...it's light but it binds.

Make sure she takes amino acid supplements. Vegetable proteins are incomplete and lack certain aminos. I worked with a guy in the Armored Truck company that happily told everyone he only ate raw vegetables for the last 4 years. The first time I worked with him I asked the question I asked all new guys, what did they do so wrong in life to end up on the island of mis-fit employees. He told me he couldn't get the 5 in the box...WTF! He went on to explain that he was the head CPA for a major international corporation for 15 years but got fired. He was fired because he had a major financial report due but didn't finish it in time for the annual board meeting because he couldn't get the five in the box. The explanation was ledger paper has those little boxes to separate the numbers and he just couldn't get the 5 in one of them. This was 1983 and he was making a 6 figure salary. I can't say for sure what made him burn a fuse, but 4 years earlier was when he started eating only raw vegetables. I had to lose 100 lbs before they would do a joint replacement. I did what you did and ditched the carby stuff, but I eat a few ounces of chicken or fish a day with my piles of veggies, just in case it was the lack of certain amino's that pushed G over the edge. The frightening part was the state gave him a permit to carry a firearm Ooofffaaa!

She gave up on Keto-vegetarian. I wondered. That is extremely limiting.

I don't know yet how well informed she is. I know if you do your homework a vegetarian diet is fine. Same with keto. I went keto over 5 years ago and my health improved greatly in a wide variety of ways - it probably saved my life. But if you don't do your homework, you can hurt yourself - including kidney damage and possibly even death. There are a few basics that are critical. As long as you do those things and stick to the plan, you'll be fine. But people do all sorts of crazy things. Some have stopped eating any carbs. That is terrible!!! You need at least 25 grams a day for your brain to function properly. You have to stay well hydrated. Ketosis sucks up water like a sponge while converting fat to energy. People get severely dehydrated because they simply don't drink enough water, and that can be life threatening. So yeah, you don't want to wing it when it comes to nutrition and major lifestyle changes.

I've dated a large number of extremely fit and healthy young women. Most of them really did their homework and could talk at length about health and nutrition.

PS, Just had my bp checked: 117 / 78. :) When I started the diet AND EXERCISE PROGRAM I was running about 140 / 90.

Thanks. That was a nice surprise. I haven't been below 120 / 80 since I was in my twenties.

Speaking of my new sb, we discovered that we both love ATVs. I rode dirt bikes [and street bikes] for years but haven't rode for decades. She loves quads but hasn't ridden since her teens. So we are renting some quads and spending a weekend in the mountains. This should be fun. There is great hotel associated with the rentals and located near several fantastically scenic trails we can take.

Finally something I really want to do again! I did nothing but work for so long that I forgot how to have fun... except in bed. :D

It is far too complicated to explain, but between the divorce, regaining my health, losing weight and getting fit, all of the financial issues to be resolved because of a long messy, very expensive divorce, rebuilding my business while still under attack from the ex, rebuilding my personal life, and trying to find a new long-term sugar baby, this is the first time in over five and a half years that I can finally stop running - just in the last few days.

No more 30 emails a day from lawyers and brokers and advisers. No more trips to appear in court. No more astronomical lawyer bills to pay. No more nasty emails from the ex with her conning me, or attacking me, or lying to me, or refusing to cooperate with the court. I'm even getting over my first sugar baby. My new sb is highly committed and we're doing great. And the business has started to stabilize. I had to establish myself in a new area. For the first time since this all started, really the first time since the crash of 2008, life is finally seeking a new normal.

While the remodeling process has been going on for a while, we're going to be starting the bedroom this week..... Which includes jacking up a wall... Along with drywall for the rear entry way...

Ceiling in the Living Room to follow...

My sugar baby and I went to a LASER show last night. It is the first time I've been to one since I was 16 yo. After getting my driver's license I took my first date to a LASER show. The first was set to Pink Floyd. The one last night was set to Pink Floyd.

LASER shows have improved a bit in the last 40 years but the song remains the same. :D

We arrived early and took a walk to get some snacks at a local store. There was a fairly steep hill to walk down and then back up in a hurry to get seated. Coming up the hill, my 30 year younger, athletic sugar baby couldn't keep up! I had to slow down or I would have left her behind. :D - the Elliptical [with High Intensity Interval Training] is an incredible exercise machine.

    Lousy way to wake up!

That photo reminded me of my first fiancée. Once my dog decided he liked her, he walked up and peed on her leg.

Seemed Shopped? Not that it matters but I was curious why? The dog's shadow seems to be correct.

The right rear leg looks wrong, along with the ground under the dog.... Shadowing seems off too. Looks like much airbrushing was done.... Along with smudging.... Especially around the area of the dog's left front leg, & the woman's head.

Not even going to touch the unlikely possibility that the dog would have no footprints anywhere in the frame.
