All the claims I have made about the West can be proven if you read real History. Unfortunately you don't.

I also support the West against Islamic radicalism.

It is indisputable that the West has interfered in Arab countries to maintain the flow of oil to the West, and to attempt to introduce Western style democracy. This cannot happen. You will only get Islamic style Democracy.
You'd object strongly if Islam tried to introduce Sharia law into Canada. Why should they not object strongly when the West tries to interfere in their countries? Our culture and their culture differ. That's why you get Islamic enclaves in Canadian cities, as we do here.

Yes Islamic Radicalism is wrong. But it is not real Islam. It is the same form as the Spanish Inquisition who tried to force the Churches teaching on what it called 'heretics'. And it's no good saying the church has apologised. That doesn't wipe out what it did. The people it tortured are not around to receive the apology. Omar Khayyam wrote this truth 'The moving finger writes, and having writ moves on, nor all thy piety or wit can lure it back to cancel half a line, nor all thy tears wash out a word of it'. What has been done, has been done. It's taken centuries for the Church to acknwledge it faults. Maybe Islam will come to that stage in the future.

Religion has brought the world to the edge of Chaos. And if there is a god who created man he must be tearing his hair out. Stories written by men in the 7th century BCE about mythological Patriarchs has spawned 3 religions and caused misery and chaos to billions.

You quite unjustly called me anti-western. Your problem is your lack of understanding the situation from all sides.
You have focussed only on what you want to believe, not on reality.

The rest of your post I disregard for various reasons.

Jesus is the key word here as in Christ as in CHRISTians. Jesus brought the new gospel and at no time called for killing nonbelievers as Islam does ad nauseum.

Another pathetic attempt to compare Christians that do they exact opposite of what Christ preached to Muslims that do exactly what Muhammad preached.

What do you think this means? Or, was Matthew just shooting off his mouth?

Matthew 5:17 – "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them."

    Sorry. Don't understand your point.

I simply point out the situation as recorded by history.
I don't compare Christians against Muslims. Both are, in my eyes, equally wrong. Both assume their faith from Abraham, who, almost certainly, did not exist. As does Judaism, though this was affected by Zoarastrian teaching in Babylon.

Rabbi Jesus preached to the Jews. Only to Christians is he Christ (Messiah) Jesus.

Point is both are not equally wrong and your attempt to equate the two is pathetic

Both are equally wrong as there is no basis for either belief. In fact all 3 Abrahamic religions stem from a mythological character. Unless, of course, you can produce evidence that Abraham actually existed and that Jesus was actually a messiah.

Well why didn't you explain that. Look at the history of the Church from the earliest times through to today.

American Scholar Mark Juergensmeyer, who studies religion and religious violence wrote '"that despite its central tenets of love and peace, Christianity—like most traditions—has always had a violent side. The bloody history of the tradition has provided images as disturbing as those provided by Islam or Sikhism, and violent conflict is vividly portrayed in the Bible. This history and these biblical images have provided the raw material for theologically justifying the violence of contemporary Christian groups. For example, attacks on abortion clinics have been viewed not only as assaults on a practice that Christians regard as immoral, but also as skirmishes in a grand confrontation between forces of evil and good that has social and political implications.",[60]:19–20 sometimes referred to as Spiritual warfare. The statement attributed to Jesus "I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword" has been interpreted by some as a call to arms to Christians.[60]

Of course fanatical Islamists are to be condemned. They are a cancer on the human race. But not the first that has appeared. Read Christian history, and weep for the millions who died as you weep for Islamist victims.

There was no "gospel" in the OT. The message of Jesus/God in the OT was that unbelievers were to be killed.

What I find interesting (and strange) about the story is that we have this God changing the message.

What does this tell us about this God ?

    1. All your claims about the West are biased and anti West real history does not agree with your biased claims about the West.
    2. What is Islamic radicalism?
    3. Without Western action heeding the call for assistance from Arab against Islamic radicals the entire Middle East would have fallen to Islamic radicalism. Democracy is not only for the West it is for the entire civilized society.
    4. Sharia Law is Islamic inquisition laws that favors Muslims, democracy is for all. Sharia has no place in a democratic society that is why Arabs and Muslims do not support Sharia.
    5. What is real Islam? Mohammed's early teachings is it the real Islam or Mohammed's later teachings the real Islam?
    6. The Church has always recognized its history and accept its wrongs and sins while Islam, agnostic and atheism apologizes for nothing.
    7. True religion by Jesus Christ has gave hope to people who have lost hope, gave love to those who hate, compassion to those who have none but most of all paved it and laid the foundation for the expansion of modernization.
    8. Communism the godless man government in its short history has wrecked havoc and brought great misery, death and destruction to humanity thanks to the church it came to a stop.
    9. Your position is about anti West, blame the West for Muslim problems although Islamic history stretches some 1300 years that started with their aggression of wars against what is now the west and their conquest of ancient Christian Middle East while modern Western history some 600 years that started during the 13th century. Your reality is one sided always against the West that is why you can only share all your agnostic or atheistic view point in Western democratic society not in Muslim lands because Muslim countries will never give you the venue to share your agnostic views.

The world is a violent place and the Bible points that out.
Islam and its Quran gave its followers the excuse to be violent against others.

    1. Trash.
    2. You tell me.
    3. Western action by invading Iraq started the problems in the Middle East. Till then, from the 50's, the problems in the Middle East had been mainly between themselves. That is History. Look it up.
    4. Are you for real? Why do Muslims in Canada and the UK practise Sharia law among themselves, I've shown you that from your own Canadian websites.
    5. Mohammed only taught at the time. There are no 'later teachings by Mohammed'.
    6. You're wrong. Moderate Islam does acknowledge the faults of the Radicals. You really should read more.
    7. But the Church has not followed the teachings of Jesus. Look at it's history.
    8. Again you show your lack of knowledge and your bias. The church had little to do with the fall of Communism. The Russian economy did that. Lack of food and amenities among the Russians did that.
    9. And the West conquered much of the rest of the world over the centuries and wiped out nations and cultures who never wanted them in their own land. I notice you quote the West's 'modern' history from the 13th century but you quote Islamic history from the 7th century. Islam's 'modern' history starts much later than that. Just your usual way of twisting things.

I've said it before - you only want to believe what you want to believe. Reality means nothing to you.

The statement attributed to Jesus "I come not to bring peace, but to bring a sword" has been interpreted by some as a call to arms to Christians.[60]

I have nothing more to say. You obviously cannot see reality when it is staring you in the face.

    Good luck.

    1. Understandable, still won't change your biased claims about the West and your pro claims about Islam.
    2. It would seem's you don't know what is radical Islam at all this explains your anti West sentiments.
    3. Iraq has been a problem long before US invasion. US invasion of Iraq was welcome by Kurds.
    4. Only selective Muslims in Canada and UK seek Sharia binding amongst themselves only without any legal authority under Canada or UK constitution. Majority of Muslims are cover under Canadian and UK laws indepent from their personal religious Sharia law respectively.
    5. Mohammed's first or initial teachings when his wife Khadija was still alive was purely peaceful and very Christian like his later or second teachings after his wife died and he was expelled from Mecca were very vindictive and violent. Radicals follow Mohammed's second teachings because according to Islamic scholars it abrogates his earlier teachings. While other Muslims tend to follow Mohammed's first teachings at the same time recognizing Islamic teachings or interpretation on abrogation.
    6. Neither radical or moderates Muslims have ever apologized the atrocities Islam committed against humanity they only claim among themselves as to who is the real Islam. Moderates said they are the real Islam. Radical claims they are the real Islam and so far it would seem's for centuries radical Islam is the upper hand.
    7. The Church has followed the teachings for Jesus Christ that is why modern civilization has prospered but most of all agnostics, atheist are free to express their opinion in Christian lands.
    8. Economy is just one reason of the collapse of communism Christianity is the other. One thing for sure communism does not work it is bad for humanity.
    9. Native people of Mexico allied and welcome the Spanish conquistadors to defeat the Aztecs. Native Africans allied with the British to defeat the Zulus. Pakistan, Iran, Iraq were invaded and their culture and heritage brutally subdued by Islamic armies. Armenians were uprooted and expelled by Muslim Turks.
    10. Islamic history started with Mohammed in 610 AD. Islamic conquest of Christian lands started sometime in 670 AD. Don't why you would claim that I said Islamic modern history started in 670 AD when every historian is aware that modern Islamic history started what is known as the Golden Age sometime in 780 AD.

    2. I know exactly what radical Islam is. I don't know what you mean by it. Radical is out of the normal, extreme - in the sense of view or action - as in the actions of IS. So radical Islam is something I am against. Got it now.
    3. Not to the West. Of course the Kurds welcome the US invasion. They want their own independent land. Not be part of Iraq. Although the Iraqi's allowed them to rule themselves in most things, they were still part of Iraq.
    4. Muslims practise Sharia law amongst themselves - regardless of Canadian law. If a Muslim commits an offence against another Muslim, they sort it out. Marital problems are kept in the Muslim family - rather like Jews.
    5. Rubbish.
    http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/pages/muhammad/life-of-muhammad.aspx
    6. You don't read or listen to the news enough.
    7. Again I say - read church history with your eyes open. In any case Jesus wasn't talking to the Gentiles. He came to the Jews. Period.
    8. Christianity had nothing to do with it. And I agree that communism doesn't work in today's society.
    9. The native people joined with the Spaniards - after they themselves had been conquered. Nothing like having help from your conquerors to conquer your enemies. As to the other.I suggest you go through and see just how large a part of the world the West conquered - mainly by force.
    10. Are you really serious? By the time of Mohammed Rome was virtually finished. The Church had spread in various countries but in no way could you call most of them Christian countries. Todays Syria/Jordan and Egypt had accepted Christianity and fell to the Islamic armies. Also a few Christian outposts along the North African coast. Christianity had spread where Rome had ruled - mainly along the southern European coast and into Europe. Islam conquered the Middle east and North African coast. They ventured across into Spain, but after time were removed by European/Christian troops. They did not conquer 'Christian' Europe.
The Golden Age came to an end in the 13th century and cannot be included in Modern Islamic history.

And that is it. I've wasted enough time.

    No more from me.

Thanks. The Roman Empire at this time was weak, economically and militarily. Much of its western territory was now held by 'barbarians'. It's only stronghold at the time was the East, Egypt and North Africa. It could not hold on to Egypt of North Africa when the Islamic armies were on the move in the 7th century. The rest of the East has a chequered history and is now mainly Islamic.

    1. We should trash and put in the garbage all your false and biased claims about the West.
    2. What is out of the normal? Islamic radicals claim they are practicing and protecting the real Islam and they have large armies to proof that.
    3. And why should the US even have to care didn't you want the US not to get involved leave the Kurds alone let them be persecuted by none Kurdish Muslims?
    4. Muslims can sort out their own issues but if they want national legal issues to be settle officially the Canadian Law applies.
    5. Clearly you are not familiar with Islamic history this explain your anti West position.
    6. You listen to much to yourself only you and can not provide any link that of any Muslim leaders apologizing for the atrocities committed against Jews, Christians, Kurds, Armenians, Hindus, oppression of women, minorities etc.
    7. Jesus is the Son of God and he revealed to the whole world that we are all God's children.
    8. Today, Christianity is growing in all former communist countries at the same time few remaining communist countries are strictly prohibiting Christianity and persecuting any citizen and missionaries from sharing Christianity. Agnostics and atheist on the other hand can only find safety in Christian lands.
    9. Islam conquered nations have lost their ethnic identify, heritage and culture.
    10. In other words since you do not consider Islamic Golden Age as the era that started Islamic modernization then we can say that there has never been an Islamic modernization that is why up to today Islamic nations still exist primitively and this is why there has been so much struggle as many Arabs and many others wanted to separate from primitive Islam and move to modernization that is why the Arabs have been approaching the West for assistance.

It is good news that you will stop posting anti West propaganda I welcome that.

I have never posted anti Western propaganda. I have posted facts. That you can't see that is your problem.
Your last post proves the point quite satisfactorily. Until you get rid of your biased opinions you will never see reality. I am of the opinion that Islam is outdated in terms of Western Culture, but they have a right to their culture and religion - preferably in their own lands. Your opinion is that your country - Canada - has its right to its own Laws, and expect all to obey them. Then equally Islamic lands have their rights - whether you like them or not.

Nor, for the very last time on this subject I repeat

American Scholar Mark Juergensmeyer, who studies religion and religious violence wrote '"that despite its central tenets of love and peace, Christianity—like most traditions—has always had a violent side. The bloody history of the tradition has provided images as disturbing as those provided by Islam or Sikhism, and violent conflict is vividly portrayed in the Bible. 1. You often post your personal biased false facts about the West that readers clearly can see that.
    2. If Islam has the right to their oppressive outdated culture and the West have no right to intervene or influence them to change as you said then does this mean we should close all our borders to Muslims? Not accept Muslims students in our universities, colleges and schools? Ignore Arabs and other Muslims call for us to intervene in their struggle against their oppressive Islamic regime and to help them establish democracy in their lands?
    3.
It is clear that Mark Juergensmeyer main focus is on religious violence not on religious peace or atheist violence. In regards to the specific phrase which is on abortion clearly he is a supporter of killing and violence against a living human the unborn babies.

God did not change His message He only enlighten us to new revelation as time goes by. Today, God no longer have to reveal anything anymore because we now have great scientist, scholars and leaders that are doing God's job in spreading, protecting humanity and this earth.

This is your problem. You read into things what you want to believe. There is absolutely nothing to suggest that he agrees with abortion. Want you have posted is actually a slur on his character, and liable to action. He simply states the situation as it is. That is what I have been doing during these posts, but you are incapable of seeing further than your biased view.

You are simply incapable of understanding.

You will hear no more from me on this. I prefer a 'conversation' with those capable of logic and reason, and that doesn't seem possible with you.

There are millions of Christians that disagree with you however, let us assume what you are saying is correct - God did not change his message.

    "Gods Message" is

    1) We are to kill disbelievers, those who worship God's other than the God of Abraham and those suspected of disbelief and their families.
This includes killing women, children an Babies in towns where a few disbelievers are found

    2) Stone Adulterers

    3) Allow selling of one's daughters into slavery

    4) No eating Pork

    and so on.

Do you think we should be following these edicts of God ?
