The people of California are tired of the way Democrats run the state thus why the recall is succeeding.

CA is getting a bit too crazy with these recalls. I still don't understand completely what got Gray Davis recalled. I don't care that much for Newsom, he wasn't my pick. I preferred Villariagosa, but elections are what elections are.

CA has a petition for just about anything you can think of.

The recall now has 1.95 million signatures and almost 700,000 were verified as of Feb 2nd.

It's a done deal. It will pass.

Over 2.1 million signatures has been sent in. They have close to 1.5 million already verified.

It's only a matter of time before it becomes official.

Caitlin Jenner is the latest Democrat considering a run. If enough Democrats run and split the vote it's possible a Republican could win.

If a law is voted upon, legally enacted, that is NOT 'abuse of power'.

Arnold was a moderate republican, 'liberal on social issues, conservative on fiscal policies', his words. Pete Wilson was no radical, either.

In the last 70 years, a number of moderate republicans have won California. Specifically, Knight, Reagan, Deukmejian, Schwarzenegger and Wilson.

Big whoop, this is California, lose a Democrat, elect another Democrat. A Republican stands as much chance of being elected governor as me being proclaimed Pope (and I'm not Catholic to boot).

My good sir, you are far from correct as people have voted for more abuse of power because they were convinced it was for the greater good or that it would only affect others. Putting people in prison for smoking a plant was well within the law.

In Newsoms case, much came with the stroke of a pen and no voter involvement.

I don't know of many states that don't have a two term limit for governors. By the way what percentage of the population will be homeless and/or dumpster diving for breakfast before the voters finally figure out that crap ain't working?

I did not vote for either sex offender. I do not see Trump, Newsom, or Biden as men of character.

Sorry, you are totally, completely and utterly, confused on what constitutes 'abuse of power'.

Abuse of power always constitutes a violation of the oath of office, and part of the oath of office is to uphold the law, inclusive of laws recently enacted, though you may, or may not, approve of the law enacted.

Abuse of power is where the official acts in ways that demonstrates he or she is above the law, or violates the law, or violates the oath of office, violates the public trust, it could be corruption, it is 'malfeasance'. Such as the former Governor
Rod Blagojevich who was convicted for trying to sell a senate seat, now that is a clear cut case of abuse of power.

Putting people in jail for smoking marijuana is cruel by today's standards, but if that is the law, it is legal and does not constitute an abuse of power.

If you want to argue 'cruel', 'unjust', there you have an argument.

Trump's 'zero tolerance' policy was legal, and, not 'abuse of power' per se, even though it was not practiced by prior presidents. Where it became abuse of power is where he failed to keep adequate records so that the children could be reunited. Now, systemic problems still exist, but the monolithic size of the problem will take time to fix.

Jenner is a Republican ( moderate ). she will split the republican vote, take a lot of conservative leaning independents, but not the democratic vote, this is certain.

That's interesting, given your rebuttal is a distraction.
