I believe in man made climate change. I just don't believe that there is anything worth doing to change it.

I care about President Trump's various negative attributes but I don't allow them to override what I see as the good policies he advances.

So.........it seems that you accept the science of climate change but not the consequences from it if we do nothing as you suggest.

I look at him differently. Even if he had none of the negative personal attributes I mentioned I would oppose him with every fiber of my being because he is systematically damaging the country in ways I previously thought to be unimaginable.

The dollars aren't being spent by government so this is unrelated to universal health care.

Opinion, not fact. I'll trust the hospitals to do a better job of containing costs than the government.

Opinion. You are comparing apples and oranges.

    More opinion.

I didn't mention any studies. Only you did.

I consider than conclusion naive and unbelievable. Sorry.

No. It's a question you want to avoid, because you know you cannot meaningfully address it.
    As usual.

If you cannot see the obviousness of this, it must because you choose to be ****ing blind.

    End of conversation.

Fomenting distrust in our bedrock institutions, questioning the legitimacy of elections, welcoming/soliciting the involvement in our elections by foreign adversaries, applying a loyalty test for government workers, dismantling the State Dept., hurting morale of the intel agencies, making the workplace less safe, corrupting the DOJ, making the environment less safe, blurring the line between the military and civilian branches of government, causing a lack of trust in everything and anything he says, and on and on.

You might have some points but I think his opposition has at least some responsibility for those things as well.

NASA has used private contractors from the very beginning. Who the hell do you think built the space shuttle? The rest of your post is meaningless since you don't even understand that basic premise about NASA.

Can you imagine anything worse than a candidate for prez saying he will not accept defeat because the election was "rigged?" Calling in to question the legitimacy of an election and therefore the next prez? Then, once elected, making unfounded assertions about the reliability of mail-in ballots? Or not accepting the conclusion of the intel agencies about Russia's help to him? Or soliciting the help of a foreign government in an upcoming election in defeating his presumed opponent?

These are horrific acts that undermine confidence and destabilize the country. Just the sort of thing someone like............oh I don't know...........Putin is trying to accomplish.

I wouldn't say "horrific". Seems like a bit of a stretch to me. I can list several other presidents who did worse.

The orbiters (what most people call the space shuttle) were built by Rockwell.

Never trust U.S. government claims that a new program will "save" money.

Remember both the space shuttle program and the F-35 were suppose to save money.

Nixon, LBJ, Buchanan, Pierce, Johnson, Carter. To name just half a dozen. Might put Hoover in there as well.

Try reading conservative blogs instead of flaunting your lack of perspective. I read leftist sites frequently. I know they're crazy vicious spoiled children. They prove it by stupid rants that Trump is just as much Hitler as they said was Romney, both Bushes, and of course Uncle Bugeyes himself, old Shicklgruber reborn. They are ENTITLED to our money and delight in burning down what others built because fentanyl and racism.

The uproar over Bush and Powell and Mattis all claiming their horror Trump might invoke the law Congress itself passed...that is pure comedy gold. "How dare you follow our law? NAZI!"

Bill Maher was a failed actor and so-so stand-up comedian. His idea of centrism is to hit liberals one time, (EVER so gently mustn't wake their slumber) for about every seven he slams decency. Try watching test patterns for higher enlightenment.

In all fairness he wasn't bad as a cop in that science fiction comedy about an off beat cop whose great grandson comes from the future to stop a criminal in the present. Pilot for a series that never took off.

No president deserves credit or blame for economic changes that take place in the first year of their administration.

Thus President Reagan deserves no blame for the 81-82 recession that began less than a year after he took office. In fact there is a serious line of thought that the 81-82 recession was simply the right half of a "W" shaped recession that initially began under President Carter.

What could you possibly accuse Carter of that is nearly as egregious as questioning the legitimacy of our elections?

Okay Republicans - how about the fact that Dems are proposing legislation that will mandate all federal law enforcement "to visibly display identifying information" while engaging in crowd control. So far, no Republican support. Any ideas why this proposed law would be a bad idea, or something they just can't support?

Aren't you the perfect little Trumpster? Every critic of Trump is a failed this, or a failed that, the kind of crapola that evacuates the rancid lips of the president.

Bill Maher slams liberals when they are given to excesses, and is not an 'actor' primarily he's a comedian with a long running show in Prime Time and successful enough to have donated one million dollars to the Obama campaign. Bill Maher has a wide variety of viewpoints on his show.

    Rest is drivel.

Your fearless leader spews conspiracy theories by the truckloads, which, apparently, you don't seem to mind at all. Such as accusing Joe Scarborough of murder, accusing the 75 year old man's being pushed down to the cement cracking his skull and bleeding by the cop as an 'Antifa set up' hell, he built his campaign on Obama being born in Kenya, He once declared that Ted Cruz's father was a conspirator in the JFK assassination, and these types of CT nut job crap is unprecedented for a Us President, and he wondered why the National Enquirer, a frickin' tabloid, he wondered why it didn't get a Pullitzer, Trump once sued the author, Tim O'brian for defamation, what was the defamation? Trump sued him because O'brien called him a millionaire instead of a billionaire ( he was laughed out of court ) he once sued Bill Maher for 'breach of contract', and what was the 'breach'? Trump offered 5 million for Obama's college transcripts, and mocking that, the comedian Bill Maher said he would donate 5 million to Trump's favorite hairclub for dooshbags if he could prove he wasn't the lovechild of his mom and an orangutan. When he demanded Maher to pay up after he sent Maher his birth certificate 'proving' his father was none other than Fred Trump and not an orangutan, Maher just ignored it, and Trump considered this to be a breach of contract. Well, the judge told the lawyers that a 'contract' made as a frickin' obvious joke,(something about an orangutan should have been the tip off, and, after all, Maher is a comedian ) is not valid contract I ( even I knew that ) never mind the fact that sending Maher the birth cert to prove he was not the spawn of an orangutan was hardly necessary given the minor detail that humans cannot produce interspecies offspring, I mean jeezus frckin' krist here, we're talkin' super duper flambo moron territory here, and you don't have a problem that this incredibly dumbass man has the codes to the nuke football?

The same people smirking over that interpretation are the same people who can't find a damn thing wrong with Joe Biden groping girls or sniffing their hair. They excused Katy Hill photographing herself naked with her sex pals (plural)? Teddy the Lifeguard Kennedy? Who GIVES a s*** about Mary Jo, he was a Democrat and a leader, damn it, so let him drink and be miserable...because THAT kind of Democrat will never be our President. Decent Americans will not permit it.

How about you take a whack at defending your support of Trump without engaging in endless whataboutisms?
