    Why does the coronavirus perempt everything else and government must halt? The Senate isn't running the health crisis they can perfectly well carry out the country's business.

    I'm pretty sure that the point is that it's wrong to investigate Democrats who are running for President, but it's necessary to investigate Republicans who run for President.

    I don't care if Biden is investigated, but this does resonate very Trump like. Obviously he has not managed to get Ukraine to announce (that's all he wanted..... an announcement) so the next best thing is to have the Senate 'announce' one. Pathetic, cheap, shabby, but that's US politics these days.
